A-02: <<カレン・シュタットフェルト(紅月カレン)@コードギアス 反逆のルルーシュ>>(Kallen Stadtfeld(Kouzuki Karen)@Code Geass Lelouche of the Rebellion)
Hard choice and I wouldn't mind having Wirhelmina winning if it wasn't for the consequences it would have.
A-06:<<シャーリー・フェネット@コードギアス 反逆のルルーシュ>>(Shirley Fenette@Code Geass Lelouche of the Rebellion)
She's my favorite in this one, but because I haven't watched ToHeart2 or ZEGAPAIN to have a fair judgement.

A-10: <<月館千代@ストロベリー・パニック>>(Tsukidate Chiyo@Strawberry Panic)
Again, I've only watched this series between the 3 to choose, but well, Chiyo IS moé. Refer to the youtube video linked some pages ago.

vThat's is interesting, but it's good to see that fake voting wasn't particularly massive (At least for now).

Any rumors of tactical voting by any group? Not to say that Eva didn't deserve her votes but there was a chance to knock one of last years final 4 early in the contest.

I am pretty sure it's a first for everyone around here.

I really wanted Shana to win but, oh well, there's always the next round.

Only gonna vote in 1 group today, couldn't care less about the other two.

Okay looks like you guys may need some tech support here. They way 2ch is banning you guys is by performing a reverse DNS lookup on your source IP address, and if the FQDN of your source IP contains certain string, you're banned.

The easiest way to get around this is to post to 2ch via a different IP address. This can be done via a public anonymous proxy. There are a lot of anonymous proxy server out there, some require configuration to your browsers, some just a website that automatically does it for you.

If you know how to setup a proxy on your browser, use this list: http://www.proxy4free.com/page1.html. Using a Japanese proxy is probably best, but they tend to be rare and slow. Just keep trying until you find one which allow you to post.

If you're lazy, just try a site like this:

http://www.hidemyass.com/

Enter the 2ch voting URL and try to post. When you do this the source IP 2ch sees is this site, not your own. Chances are you'll be allowed to vote. I can't test it since I've already voted for the day so let me and others know if this site worked. I can find more sites if this one doesn't.

Unless 2ch has a massive ban on all anon proxies (unlikely) like the government of China, you should be able to vote in Saimoe. Personally I vote from work so it hasn't been an issue for me, but do give these proxies a shot. Let me know if you need help finding more anon proxy sites. You shouldn't be punished just because an asshat shared an ISP with you.

We should continually keep stats of these... sort of fun to look at. I think we did it last year too, didn't we?

A tie... From Day 1 we have a curveball... Now everyone is haunted by "what if I had..." ^^;; Mmm, some degree of tactical voting is that or is it plain Tomoe superiority in Japan's Moe-veteran eyes?

That post's been archived on the Wiki, as will any future Fake Vote intel arriving at this thread.

Korean SaiMoe:

* Suiseiseki got ~60% with Kaguya and Miu getting ~10% to survive. Valcionne was actually 6th~ gg Yukari~
* Nagi beat Shana by 3 votes... Both got just under 30%... Nanaly got 3rd place with 13%... Primula lacked 33 votes to make it through. Mawari was 98 (less than 7%) Mikan got mercilessly starved of votes (she only got 1 more than Patricia from LS)... Yukino only got 3. Namiko-sensei had 0...
* Nuarggggg Agito lost... Sayo lost too at less than 10% (4th place). This Koyori from sola gave Yoko a tough fight - Yoko only got ~30%, with Koyori being ~25%
* Yes Isumi advanced no problem (>50%). Dejikko failed to advanced even in this tiny weak group.
* Total Vote count was 1400s for the tougher groups, 1300s for the lesser two.

Round 2 starts one day later. This is the '2nd prelims' of Korean SaiMoe, where the defeated have a chance to revive back into the main tournament.

ARGH! I'm so pissed off. (Yes, Psieye, I'm haunted even worse than them other people) My connection was down for the past 36 hours, and I couldn't vote. Dang it, only one more vote for Eva, and Shana would come down. *grumble*grumble*

Still it's interesting to see how a supposed major hitter like Shana was tied with someone whos supposedly middle tier like Eva. I think maybe I was right in that people are overestimating Shana...

Oh well, at least the other 2 I would've voted on made it (sia and tomoe).

Today, it would be...
Karen - only because I want more CG chars in the tourney, even though she's my least favorite character in that series

Ryoko Kaminagi - Osana-najimi FTW! Althought by the looks of it, she won't make it through the first round despite going pretty far for a no-name character last year IIRC. Oh well, Shirley is my third favorite in CG, so she'll do fine in a pinch I guess.

God, a-10 is like the Yuri group... MAJOR BLECH for me. I guess I'll pick Tomari, because a) she's also osana-najimi and b) to try to thwart the StoPani legion this year.

Or it could be a case of tactical voting to knock off one of the big hitters early so their character wouldn't have to face her later.

I believe Eva is being underestimated as well. She is essentially from the same character archetype as Shana and she is from Negima. Negima and Hayate characters are the strongest wild cards in this tournament.

This tournament is apportioned fairly clearly this year. Last year there were a number of Round 1-3 matches that could have decided the tournament. This year the paths for the most popular characters are rather straightforward. I wonder if this was purposeful on the part of Saimoe or merely the luck of the draw.

hmmm... a lot of people have asked me why i picked Teana Lanster over Akira in their half of group E2... well... 2 reasons... we all know the nanoha fanbase is really strong... and second... tia beat akira in the prelims round 10...

Ahahahaha~~~ I voted for Eva in the last hour just before I had to go to work.

Anyways, that's a pretty epic first round with a tie between two extremely popular long-living lolis. It'll be a tough second round for Eva...

Tactical voting time! Even though Kallen looks pretty far ahead, I'll have to go with Wilhelmia to split the Shana-supporters.
