Burning MKV's to DVD's

Hello, I just found out about the magic of MKV files, and that I had to download the CCCP for the subtitles to work.
Anyways, I burn all my anime to DVD's, and I was wondering if I would have to have the CCCP installed on any computer I watched the anime dvd on? Or is there another way I could get the subs to work without installing it? I use Media Player Classic on every computer.
Thank you for helping me

Well yeah, you need h264 codecs (not only CCCP, other codec packs like K-Lite Codec Pack also works) to play those files....

If you want to convert the to DVD (MPEG-2, .vob) file format, maybe you should check this thread instead...
