Hey now, I'm a sane Cowboys fan

Watching the Thrusday night game, The Carolina Panthers are getting slapped by the Giants .

10-0 first quarter.
At the end of the half 20-0.

And then the Panthers fumble the opening kickoff of the second half with a Giants recovery.

Needless to say, we still have a long way to go to be relevant in playoff conversations. Geez.

This is embarrassing as hell. I'm still having a major problem with this college style play-calling, these shotgun draws aren't working.

Edit: Oh look, a score!

Ugh. A blowout is not helpful in getting Fantasy Points out of Eli...

The Panthers just got out-muscled the entire game. It was surprised it was so one sided. Carolina just lacked the physical edge that the Giants had. The defense still has problems stopping the run and couldn't generate pressure on Eli Manning at all. It was ridiculous. And we saw what happens when the Panthers offense gets shutdown and can't carry the team. Carolina needs to really get a better defense on the field. Especially on the defensive line. Even their best defenders Beason, Gamble, and Luke Kuechly seemed invisible from what I saw. No impact plays were being made. Add five turnovers, and it's easy to see why this was so one sided.

As a Giants fan, I was giddy. When a Skins-fan was talking down on me after our week 1 loss to the Cowboys, I pretty much knew that we need a quick turn around. Week 2 win wasn't that convincing either. Our schedule only becomes more difficult from this point on, so we can't afford to lose the games that we are supposed to win. This win against the Panthers certainly eases some of our concern.

Right here. I'm not overly confident in my team at this point.

Yes USC won!
But Matt really 2 picks. That's 5 in just 3 games.

Thanks for the update.

I'm surprised the Vikings are putting up such a fight. It's still early, granted, but still. Also, I like how NFL.com says the CIN/WAS game is 8 to 7, even though it's 14 to 7.

If Minnesota pulls this off, I am going to be laughing so hard at the Niners. Laughing even harder than when the Pats lost to the Cardinals. Would there be any competition for most embarrassing loss of the week? Heck, might be most embarrassing loss of the year.

Also, has there been a player who has quit as much as CJ has after being paid the big bucks? When do the Titans finally admit that they need a new RB?

I wouldn't be too surprised. The Vikings have beaten teams out of their league before. I think he Vikings are a very underrated team that is filled with talent that isn't used right. The Vikes are a good QB and some better coaching away from being a very threatening team. I mean heck they have a vey similar team to when they had Favre and remember that year how just the addition of a good QB did them wonders.

To be fair, it really does seem to be the offensive line that's screwing his numbers this year. Can't get any yards if you have the entire defensive line in your face two steps after being handed the ball.

It was a game that SF should have won easily, but "most embarrassing lost of the season"? Not even close. Now if they had gotten beat this decisively by Cleveland, Jacksonville or Kansas City. . . I would agree.

Minnesota is (for my outlook) a 5-7 win team this year. Definitely a team SF should have taken care off, but not really embarrassing. It was a classic trap game that the Niners looked pass and got burned for, barring a miracle.
