He was asked about it. It's not like he's the one who brought it up.

Hmm, it seems like the Patriots are not in a deep hole as I once thought. Rob Gronkowski just returned to practice in full pads.

.....Also, I must ask. College Football week 1 just started and NFL week 1 is about to start, yet this thread seems so lonely.

True, but Gronkowski is still expected to out for the first 2 games of the regural season.

Yeah, you'd expect this thread to booming quite a bit.

Also on First Take and Skip Bayless says:

That once you're cut by one of the "greatest" in Bill Belichick, he fears that Tim Tebow's NFL career is over!

I was expecting something more hilarious as when he broke down when a poll competition between Skip and Smith regarding who brings more box office hits between Kobe Bryant and Tim Tebow. It seems he flip on Tebow once someone as a legend decided to cut him, know he knows he been acting a fool.

I remembered the time when my girlfriend and me watch him debating that Tim Tebow is a better Quarterback than Gabbert and Henne, first time I laughed so much that I choked on wine.

FSU's defense getting lit up. Will be interesting if they lose this game.

Winston is looking good though for FSU. Then again, it's against Pitt's defense.

8/8 102 yards 2TDs 9:04 left in the 2nd quarter. He's definitely on course for a monster game.

  • More bad news for the Broncos, the "Great" Champ Bailey is said to miss Thursday's game.
  • Geno Smith will start game 1 for the Jets.
  • 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith and Titans Delanie Walker were named part of a lawsuit concerning a shooting that occurred during a party that was hosted my Smith.
  • Sports Analyst Urlacher alleged that the Bears were faking injuries to slow down the game.
  • E.J Manuel is the starter for the Bills.

Any responses for the current events of the NFL?

^Well at least the starting QB of the Bills won't have a name that sounds like "tool".

I'd had a feeling ever since last week that EJ Manuel would start this weekend... Now hoping the second part of that feeling, that he won't be sufficiently recovered and will end up getting hurt again, doesn't come to pass.

Hopefully they actually make a game of it too. The atmosphere in that stadium during a good game against the Patriots is like nothing else but is also extremely rare...

So very worried about the Broncos game tomorrow I know I won't be able to sleep tonight and Bailey isn't playing tomorrow . But I know we'll win I just hope our defense wins the game .

I think your offense will win the game. Von Miller and Dumervil are gone and they accounted for a good amount of your sacks. Your top corner is also out for the game. It'll fall on Manning to carry the day, which shouldn't be that hard with all the receiving options he has.

That is assuming the Broncos offensive line holds up against the Ravens pass rush.

Personally, I can see the Broncos starting their season 0-1.

I found some interesting debates coming out after the new Power rankings were updated. There are debates in a couple of Sports forums regarding the issue who is the worst team in the NFL. There are 4 teams in the discussion.

They are the Jaguars, the Bills, the Jets, and the Raiders. Who do you guys think is the worst team in the NFL right now?

I'd say the Raiders. The Jets can count on their defense, the Bills have a guy like CJ Spiller in their backfield with a decent corner in Gilmore and in Byrd assuming he's no longer upset about his contract. The Jaguars have Maurice Jones-Drew who wants to play big in a contract year with Eric Fisher protecting whoever is throwing the ball. The Raiders have no one really except for Darren McFadden who needs to stay healthy.
