Oh I know yall (1 person in particular) couldn't wait for the Saints to fall, was showing their (his) gums, waiting to jump on poor wingdarkness pretty bad, but CHAMPIONS find a way!! Malcolm Jenkins YOU found a way, and Brees closed the shades...

Through the annals of hope,
littered in a skyline of dreams...
We believe in Drew Brees,
and IN THE END, he achieves... - Señor wingdarkness

Wow the combo that got the Lions to 8-8 is leading the Cowboys... I mean call me one of little faith but Kitna peaked in 05 and he can only pass to Roy.

Jets playing.. Palmers got 2 ints under his belt before the half, I'm projecting 5 interceptions maybe a fumble or two.

hm? Jason Witten had as many receptions in todays game as Roy Williams had in the last three games.

Unless you're talking about another Roy I'm not familiar with...

First QB with a perfect rating for the year. Brady did his thing as usual. It's too easy to take him for granted though. He needs to be protected better. He took some good hits early in the game.

my point was less that he cant throw to anyone else, but he cant and didn't make any completions to his double covered recievers ala dez bryant who is the best thing on the dallas team other than romo whos on the bench. I mean did you see some of his throws... just horrendous.

bengals are terrible... god palmer is bad, also cedric cant run, they need some new blood.

Bush got a huge break with Williams fumbling at the end. Kinda shocked they threw the ball on the first three downs and then tried a FG on fourth, instead of going for it.

Still not sure why folks consider Palmer an elite QB.

You should hear Mike lombardi hawk this guys nuts. "It's just a rough patch" "he's had shoulder surgery" god... I hate palmer with a passion because he seriously sucks the life out of that team, you have a resurging TO, Benson if they had a better pass game could at least muster 4 yd per carry numbers and they also have ocho and shipley, but palmer really screws that team, and if you look at the first half of the jets bengals game.. man that defense was giving palmer all day to play catch up and score. You realy can only blame palmer, and don't even get me started on buffalo... jesus christ.

Bama what turds you are! I knew in the first half when they didn't put them away this would happen...Momentum is uncut cocaine in the SEC...Well it would have been fun watching LSU totally destroy the BCS, but looks like the $hitty BCS is gonna forgo another catastrophe...

Awww go east some grass... it'll help with the indigestion.

I jest... all in fun, dark!

We were most fortunate after that 1st half debacle!

Of course, USC and Oregon can still ruin this dream year.

Please God, let Auburn and Oregon win next weekend despite the sickening feeling that I'm getting that BOTH with lose and Boise State will get to just blow TCU over like a house of cards...

Actually, that wouldn't be nearly as bad as if BSU gets Oregon or Auburn in the NC game. BSU would shit on either team.

I cannot bear the thought of BSU winning a national title.

Dude, looking back in the day. Like in the 70s, in the Big 8 it was Oklahoma and Nebraska, while in the Big 10 it was only Michigan and Ohio State, same in Pac 10, only the LA schools. Everyone one else in conferences were basically also rans or scrubs. SEC and SWC aside, conference races were real lopsided at points. Also, them Nittanies too, looking over their 86 record, doesn't seem like a real challenge outside of #2 Bama or maybe the Irish that year.

But those guys had huge non conference games and bowl wins, wins which accrued over a previous year as well, factoring into their Boise State won against ranked VTech and OSU Beavers and are taking care of a tough ranked Nevada team. I don't see how they are any different from any of those other schools at that time.

If Auburn looses to Carolina, then there is NO REASON why the Broncos/Froggies shouldn't play for the championship.
