t.Komine's "Stratosphere" is a collaborated work. At first t.Komine could not make lyrics for the song.
So in the first version Miku sung "Uh" and "Ta" only. And he named his numbers "utatata-Trance".

Miku [utatata-Trance 01] -Original mix-
Niconico
YouTube

Niconico user called orange made the lyrics for the number and input these as comments.
The lyrics moved t.Komine and they were collaborated. So "utatata-Trance 01" reborned as "Stratosphere".
With the title and lyrics the number gained vivid image of soaring and flying.
And many inspired fan arts and PVs had been made.

Next is a PV for "Stratosphere" using MikuMikuDance.

The last capitalized 'R' represents this is a Retake/Returning/Rebirth version of original "Stargazer".

MikuMikuDance

MikuMikuDance (abbreviated as "MMD") is a free 3D animation software by Higuchi Yuu. You can manipulate 3D Miku in MMD.
Since the release in February, numerous movies were made with MMD. There is a English version of MMD also:
MikuMikuDance English version page (includes English MMD download, tutorial videos with English subtitles)

English MMD screen shot / English translation sheet for Japanese MMD
/

There is a RinRinDance also though Japanese edition only.
The usage of MMD is not limited for dancing but also for versatile 3D movie making. In fact the most popular MMD movie is "Monomane (comical impression)".

"Monomane" Niconico movie was introduced by Quarkboy, here is a YouTube link. But for none Japanese speakers this movie was difficult to appreciate well.
So the next is a excerpt from the "Monomane" movie. Language does not have a great role in this piece.

Hmm, so is there any way to acquire a 3D model of Miku? I've been scouring the web and MikuMikuDance is all I've found, but the model that it uses is of an unknown format. (Currently trying to reverse engineer it . . )

Still makes me laugh each time, and I'm not sure why.

You don't have to reverse engineering. MMD uses Animasa's 3D models. Here are models:
Page of Animasa Models (formats: Animation: Master, LightWave, Metasequoia)

And popular Kio's models (format: Rokkaku Daioh):
Hatsune Miku 1.4 / Kagamine Rin 1.1 / Kagamine Len 1.0 / Akita Neru 0.5 / FL-Chan 1.0

Kio's models were used in famous PVs like these:

Miku "melody... 3D PV ver1.50" (Repost)

@kevinlmw
Here is a flv file of "Silence" MMD Edition PV. This is a Niconico movie file and clealer than 【MikuMikuDance】『Silence』(MMD Edition)【DANCE-PV】【H.264】 in YouTube and as I posted here dimmer than zoome version.

Cool "rejected" PV also by Kannas. Appearently Kannas is good at manipulating 3D models but elaborate camera works are superb also.

Len/Miku "rejected" MMD-Edition PV
Niconico
zoome (Recommended. Movie quality is better)

I dunno if anyone posted this before, but I've been pretty much been listening to this nonstop for the past few weeks lol.

Hajimete no Oto (初メテノ音) is basically a medley of popular/nostalgic Miku songs. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to recognize quite a lot of them. Some of my favs like Shiro no Kisetsu and Miracle Paint are in it :3 Some of the transitions are pretty funny XD

Enjoy :3

That's baker's remix of Love is War.

You can download it from here: http://www4.axfc.net/uploader/16/so/Li_4519.zip.html
Pass is "koisen". (Without the quotation marks)

Nevermind, it looks like the link isn't working anymore.
You could always get it as a mp3 from directly the vid itself...
