Let's see... it won't be pretty this week.
Hikari section. This episode was the biggest letdown yet. I have been able to bear with the unrealistic and cruel nature of School Days up until now, heck, I've enjoyed it. I have to draw the line somewhere, though. The episode started showing pretzel-girl and Makoto just finished doing it, with no explanation or anything, of course she happened to be drawn to Makoto, like all the others. More-so, it's her unbelievable stupidity that bothers me, she sleeps with him a couple of times, and actually has the guts to pretend she cares about Sekai's wellbeing meanwhile. It's not that I like Makoto, God knows I don't, but she has no right to point any fingers with regards to being considerate to Sekai. She dropped him like a hot potato at the end and kept her mouth shut, I don't really know how to feel about that, might've been for the best.
Sekai section. Among the characters, Sekai was the one I was most disappointed with. I really thought she had it in her, all along. I'll reluctantly admit that I was flat-out wrong, just completely, utterly wrong. She doesn't have it in her at all, ironic way of putting it I guess, since she
does have something "in her" now.
All the "It's Makoto's baby"-talk really left a bad taste in my mouth, why on earth is she so happy about this? I can understand that someone would come to terms with, or even be happy about an unplanned child at her age, but it seems she's actually pleased by the fact that their child will grow up with someone like Makoto to look up to. At this point I'm not longer keeping my optimistic little smile on for Sekai, she's dead to me. :<
Kotonoha section. Her actions speak for themselves at this point, she's just completely demented. When someone loses touch with reality, and actually convinces themselves of talking to someone else, you know they're well over their limit. I'm a little... disappointed (?) that she didn't go Euphemia on anyone, but there's still hope. She was incredibly lucky to bump into Makoto at such a place, and as the Goddess would have it, he was all out of booty-calls, so he gave her a chance. Poor thing, I can't help feeling a little sorry for her still, she's going to end up the same way as before, or even worse. There's no gold at the end of the rainbow you're chasing, Kotonoha. ~~
3 random sluts section. Yeah... They were pretty much what pushed this episode into idiot-land. Just what kind of sinful and irredeemable school is this? ~ These girls aren't just easy, I mean sheesh; prostitutes use more scrutiny when picking sex-partners.
Otome section. Perhaps the only spark in the dark for this episode. She didn't give in to Makoto, but you know, it's still too little too late. She did back off, never giving an inch, though. +1 for Otome.
I don't think I'll bother with a Makoto section, since most of his actions were already addressed. He's still a royal jerk.

This thing borders on surreal. Ok, i could somehow buy the Hikari thing, but the orgy with the three bullies ? Please ... not to mention their reason for wanting to sleep with Makoto was also far out there >.> For me, this is no longer tragedy - it is comedy. This had the potential to be relatively amazing, but the writers have thrown that out of the window in favor of some far-fetched stupidity. I will just kick back, relax and try not to laugh at whatever resolution they can come up with
