Did you try the Media Configuration Guide? I had trouble playing the same files with Media Player Classic, but they work fine in VideoLAN.

I am also having trouble with We Suck's Survive. The whole thing keeps flashing and is blocky near the beginning. For example, when Luna dumps her face into the sink-like thing, it keeps flashing her before she dumped her face in and after she dump her face in. Spectre's work fine for me, but I have no idea what is causing the problem. I do have ffd installed.

By the way, how do I uninstall my video codecs, like where to check for them.. I installed some that I can remember the name of or where I installed it.. so any ideas?

I was having this trouble too - seems this is one of the few AVIs ffdshow alpha doesn't play properly. I worked around it by going into ffdshow's config under "Codecs" and setting the "XviD" format option to disabled. This will let it pass through to the normal XviD codec if you have it installed. If that still doesn't work, you may need to update your XviD codec - I'm using Kopei's latest alpha from here...

Hope that helps
