There's been apparently some issues with A-K's 100 Stories releases since episode 8. I suggest you try installing the latest experimental build of XviD ( http://www.roeder.goe.net/~koepi ) and playing the videos through VLC ( http://www.videolan.org/vlc ).

While that would work, it could cause problems with videos that were encoded with old versions of XviD. I'd recommend that you follow the instructions in the Media Configuration Guide and install ffdshow. That will solve the problem without causing trouble for your older videos. I should also point out that green image is often caused by the Nemo codec pack, so make sure that you un-install it if that is the problem.

No, I'd recommend uninstalling all codecs, install koepi's latest XVID beta build. Instlaling ffdshow, going to configurations and changing the default decompressor for xvid from libavcodec to xvid.

Sorry, I can't find where to change the default decompressor.

*edit*

Well, I installed latest Koepi's Xvid release and ffdshow and it works now. I didn't change anything in ffdshow, so I guess upgrading my codec was the only thing that helped me.
