finally got to see the episode and its pretty good. Although it felt like the story didn't really progress much in this episode compared to the previous two, it was still entertaining.

Spoiler for some thoughts:

-Kyou's kick to the face on Sunohara looked painful and much more powerful than what Tomoyo has been doing to Sunohara so far. Plus Tomoya's little comment to Sunohara about which kick hurts most, Kyou's kicks or Tomoyo's kicks, was pretty funny. Plus Kyou's kicks knocked Sunohara out. Although that little boar did look cute.
- Tomoyo attacked Sunohara out of not calling it "self defense". That was a surprising change as she literally got irritated at Sunohara's antics.
- Fuuko looking for her knife on Tomoya was funny. She also does the whole "dribble, dribble, shoot, high five" routine to Tomoya again...hahah funny. But she gave her star away to Tomoya...I wonder why she made that star.
- The beginning we get the "other dimension" girl and her robot friend and this time, this scene lasts a little longer than the previous scenes in the previous episodes. Is it just me, or do the animations for the "other dimension" girl look pretty smooth compared to when they go back to the show...
- Nagisa's dad giving away free bread to Tomoya and Nagisa's mom running out of the shop because her husband doesn't like the bread or it just doesn't sell...haha but Nagisa's family sure is a lively one.
- Nagisa's explanation about the Dango Daikazoku and how different she was compared to her explaining what the club was about.
- The next preview looks like Sunohara will try to hook up with Tomoyo...now that would be pretty interesting to see.

it isn't you.
Since the first episode, the animation of the "unknown girl" is unrealistically smooth.
In fact, in such scenes, they doubled/tripled the amount of unique frame, thus rendering a top nocht fluid movement result, contrasting a lot with the rest of the animation of the series.

yea I just really noticed that her animations are super smooth and are already movie quality.
I guess with that much meaning and importance within those "other dimension" scenes to Clannad, they had to make the animations for her really smooth.
I'm still getting blanks on what that scene might mean to Clannad later on, but for now, she built a robot to call as her friend or to call as a family member.
Weird world....where you create things and they come to life just like that.

It's not that the robot is coming to life, but it the boy's soul entering the vessel, which is the robot. The girl's power is only [beep--]

Nagisa dripped a few tears on that part of the bun eariler, Tomoya doesn't want Nagisa to eat that part, which he think doesn't suit the taste of a red-bean bun.

I agree if you look at the sort of family Tomoya has then you can kind of understand why he behaves the way he does... It's also why he asks in the first ep that families like Nagisa's actually exist. If you look closely every ep does a good job in building an overall picture of each character's persona.

On another note, this episode kinda ended in a cliffhanger...even though we know that Nagisa will probably get a warning for putting up a flyer without the Council's permission, knowing Nagisa being shy, I wonder how she will take it? Probably Tomoya will come in to defend her as well, since he is part of the club.

I think they will receive a deadline for the establishment of the club by collecting the min number of members required. Nagisa and Tomoya get all the cute girls together..and we have a kick ass Drama Club ^_^

I liked how tomoya screwed with his friend when he was half asleep, that made me laugh.

The tomoyo kicks are getting a little clique, hopefully tomoya's friend because a stronger character and I'll be able to remember his name.. ><
