New Tracker (Unlicensed Anime Only) - Fansub Access
Hi,
I started up a tracker at www.jasio.net/tracker/ it's *only* for unlicensed anime series. The reason behind the tracker is for small/smaller fansub groups who cannot find a place to place their torrents up for sharing. If you have an un-licensed anime and need a place to seed your things, you are free to use the tracker. [Gizmonic Institute] is currently using the tracker for their releases. If you have a torrent you want uploaded, simply talk me to (Jasio) in #jasio on irc.mircx.com I am working on an upload script where you may login and upload torrents yourself. Licensed series will be deleted. Post up any questions you may have here... either tracker related or torrent related.

Question:
What is the proper URL for the scrape page of your tracker? Because right now I don't know what it is which means no stats for your tracker will be displayed on AnimeSuki. Now if that is your intention, it's ok I guess... but if it's not, please respond. |

There are two ways you can try to contact the scrape file...
http://www.jasio.net/tracker/announce.php/scrape or, if that method does not work try: http://www.jasio.net/tracker/scrape.php If either of those do not work, let me know, I'll try a third and final option.

Ballz:
As long as its unlicensed, of course you may seed the torrent(s) on my tracker, my whole reason behind this tracker is to help out smaller fansub groups to get their subs out into the net for others to watch. You can talk to me on irc on irc.mircx.com in channel #jasio or you can email me the torrent file at jasio@dream-nation.net make sure to include the name of your fansub group. crumja: As the amount of torrents increases, I will consider this. Since each 'sub category' would mean a new tracker, that could quickly mean that I'd be dealing with 4-5 trackers all at once. I am working out a way to have 1 tracker which has categories and so forth. I might take a little time to perfect, but I hope to expand the current trackers functions. GHDpro: It seems you managed to the bind the scrape file successfully Looks good, thanks.

The server is a fully dedicated P3 1.4Ghz, Fedora Linux box, there shouldnt be any problems with CPU/RAM loads for some time. I am using a modified PHPBT.
Note: Multiple categories (using a single tracker) is almost complete and should be implented within a day.

Jasio: Seems the credit goes to JustAnotherFan (as he modified
the record for your tracker last). I could have sworn though this URL ( http://www.jasio.net/tracker/scrape.php ) previously didn't work. But oh well... it does now. |

Yes, it was me who "played" with it
![]() And it is indeed the same URL again that was automatically and initially chosen for the scrape page (which is according to the scrape URL conventions based on the announce URL). As it didn't work at first, I switched it off to avoid the warnings. As both URLs provided the same data as I checked them, I used the one according to the conventions (which is #2) and switched it on again. (Being the curious type I did try the other one too, and it worked, as was to be expected). |

Ok... quick update:
I have moved IRC Channels to: irc.zirc.org channel: #jasio My email addy is now webmaster@jasio.net I have opened up a second tracker, the first tracker is for Fan-Subs, the second tracker is for Raw's -- both of an unlicensed nature of course. @Brood-faun: You may talk to me via IRC Chat, or send me the torrents via email, although I would prefer to talk to you via IRC to get all the details straight (only takes about 5 mins). I am now openly accepting any fan-sub group who needs a tracker for unlicensed anime's, due to the removal of mirc-X's large tracker, I hope to help some of these 'tracker-less' groups out now. The server went through a major upgrade, tripling its performances and hardware specifications.
