Sky-chan should be bored more often because that's the only time when he does anything useful.

I claim the bra-pickin gif.

When I watched this, I was a bit disappointed at the episode not following the manga. (Quite like XEBEC) I thought the character designs were odd and the crowd was oddly animated. Does Ankane bear a strong resemblance to Miyako from Pani Poni Dash, or is it just me? Look at their foreheads, they're huge! Some things about this just don't connect for me. It's like SHAFT passing all the characters by the viewer in PPD again.

But woo, it got animated! A kitsunemimi youkai harem! Can't complain about that.

The doujins are going to be wonderful for this show --- i'm 100% sure of it.

Well, that was... Well. It certainly was.

Obvious echoes of Mamoru, with a hint of Hunny from OHC thrown in. And Nodoka cast as a boy? Not quite sure what to make of this, except that Shotacon appears to be growing more mainstream every season...

No, I'm pretty sure you had it right the first time; that's why she pressed her skirt down afterwards. The manga makes this quite clear, though admittedly it's not the original source.

Yiff yiff.

Honestly after watching the first episode I'm not sure what to think. Some of the girls like the red haired twins are cute and there were a few nice moments. However some of the fanservice feels forced. Although I might check out a bit more to see what the Wolf Girl is like. Hopefully things will improve after that. If not then... Although if the red heads get a larger role.

A few posts back someone said that they didn't get a good laugh out of the whole episode. Back then i agree'd. But not you guys reminded me of the twins, and that's when i remembered, that was the only instance where i laughed. Since i haven't read the manga, when they first appeared i thought they were badass twins, but who knew the soggy cookies would be their weekness

Meh it was ok. I got through it without fast forwarding anything so thats a good sign. I'll give it a couple more episodes and see if it goes anywhere.

Well that was something.

Not too big on the lead, wow that guy is short. Combining it with Yakumo's voice (I swear during that internal monologue I thought it was her. Or another character since I couldn't put that with a guy )

Got a combination thing and some warning on troubles ahead. As expected mixing of humans and youkai isn't seen in a warm light.

Same here that was the only scene that made me laugh the rest of the episode was just a bunch of fanservice with no laughs in sight.

I think the anime is even more sexed up than the manga, but it has been a while since I read it.
I think its a bit insulting to even mention Horo in comparision with this ribald "comedy". That's like comparing .... o I'm not even going to bother because it should be obvious.

I'm with Sorrow-K here.... not seeing any "funny" or even much in the way of interesting ecchi. Will be hard pressed to watch the next episode.

Really is going way too far putting Horo into a discussion like this. No need to say much more than that. The divide is just too large between them.

Will give a couple episodes and see how it goes. But first episode wasn't that big a draw in.

The only comparison between Horo and Chizuru is the fact they're kemonomimis, nothing more. 2008 truly is year of the mimi, though, what with OnK last season and this, Wagaya and Kyouran Kazoku Nikki this season.

Horo is certainly the most superior, and is now one of my most favourite chars of all time, but I'm not dismissing this series.

I don't mind mindless ecchi once in a while, plus I'm a sucker for mimis so I feel compelled to see it through, even though the story is poor and the animation is sub-par. It has two of my favourite seiyuu, so that's a plus.

aye, I'm not suggesting anyone not watch it... only that *I* may not find the series to my liking. Once in a while these things are fun.
