My opinion so far:
Lelouch: To me he did a good Ichigo and a good Nero so i have hope in him.
Suzaku: sounds ok nothing to complain.
C.C.:you just have to keep on hearing it over and over and you get used to it.(somewhat)
Kallen: don't know yet.

At first when I heard Johnny was to voice Lelouch, I was like its fine I guess, wish it was Yuri, but the more I think about it (i replay scenes of Code Geass in my head with the american VA's lol!) the more I think he can do it and do it well. Never had a problem with Yuri as Suzaku. Lately tho, I've been thinking that the VA for Yoruichi(Windee Lee?! ZOMG Didnt know. I luv her) would be a pretty good fit for CC.

Taniguchi's word on why these VAs were chosen for Lelouch, Suzaku and CC.

Very interesting. It seems the same standards were used for picking Lelouch and Suzaku's english VAs. The stuff about C.C. is rather interesting, with Taniguchi wanting it too seem that she was not older than Lelouch. I wonder if the part about the small amount of emotion she shows is so important that it isn't going to change, even in season 2 at all.

I just thought about this, but anyone else find it ironic that Lelouch, with his teenage superhero and costume warrior inspiration for Zero, is in turn not being voiced by a former power ranger? Oh, the ironies never end

Also, interesting tidbit on the voice selection, I always knew Suzaku was nothing but a murderous bastard since he chose to pilot Lancelot, and that Lelouch is indeed the better man

Well, that was always Taniguchi's intention after all. I find the notes on C.C. quite interesting myself, but also a bit worrisome to me for some reason.

I bet Johnny must be all smiles after learning he can put on an over dramatic and brightly colored crime fighting outfit again

I agree with ya. I know that Lelouch disguised as Zero and the leader of the Black Knights (of course, w/ the helmet). And yeah, it's also ironic, hehe!

The Black Knights eh? Finally, he gets to be the leader for once, AND it's in his color too!

Oh it's also ironic that Johnny Yong Bosch voices in DMC 4 and his name is NERO!

Well both Nero and Zero sound alike.

In MMPR Johnny was the Black Ranger. Now he's going to be Zero who is also masked like the black Ranger was, and is the leader of the Order of the Black Knights.

Nero means "black" in Italian, hence, the connection Shinn_Kabuto made, and not just because Nero and Zero sound the same. 8D

Maybe Johnny was doing the MMPR poses as he was voicing Zero?

He should work on Lelouch's hand maneuvers instead, they are really hard, you know? If he wasn't animated, I'd swear Lelouch had build-a-block joints in his fingers

Hahaha, that will be VEEEEERRRRRRYYYYYYY FUNNY!

Elicit: Yes, Nero means "black" in Italian. And that's the name of the young gunslinging, sword-revving, and Devil-Bringing badass in Devil May Cry 4; Dante and Nero are the two main characters.

Spoiler for Off-topic:

It's even on this page, the third post even.

I apologise if you think I'm being mean, but I can't really let something like this slide.
