ok watched epi 2 (at this rate I might start watching this raw )

Agreed with the whole Tsubaki/Black Star bro/sis relationship feel to it. I did notice that Maka says Tsubaki could choice anyone to be her partner but she sticks with Black Star, Im hoping there is a reason for that. (again dont tell me). I do agree with Vexx's comment about her saying "he's my idiot" but it still could be said for bro/sis stuff.

I really liked Mifune in this, hoping he shows up again. Samurai with coat on shoulders was nice too see Angela was a bit of a surprise to me Wasnt expecting a kid.

I'd say Death the Kid and his weapons are baby and baby sitters. Only they take turns being the baby.

Or maybe they're like "fun loving, irresponsible big sisters, and responsible, overly serious little brother"?

Episode 2 was very good too. The only 'problem' is that Black Star's Yahoo is so damn annoying for me. lol

And on next episode comes the best character on the show.

ps: Doctor Stein is by far the most interesting char in the show

Like it's been said, it's the art style. I personally don't understand how you can label someone's eyes as dead.

Everyone else's eyes have pupils and look more "alive" due to shading.

In some anime, when a character dies, their eyes become a solid color, similar to Maka's eyes.

Look at Trisha Elric's death scene in FMA, for example.

Does anyone get what I mean here?

Yeah i know what you mean their eyes sort of glaze over and become simply two-toned and colourless, but Maka's eye's are just Ookubo's art style
