Concerning what I said about them introducing, new villans there may be at least two new ones at 2:08 and 2:13 into the trailer, i can't recall seeing the guy in the red mask although he may of been in the manga and the character in black may be a redseign of the witch from Kidd and the thompson sisters intro chapter.

Holy crap just finished watching the trailer and this anime looks to freaking good any one know where I can find the manga.

Those guys, are in the Manga. The red masked guy is Lupin the Thief who was killed by Kidd in the first chapter, the other person just a symbolic generic witch that was in Maka's chapter and isn't an actual character.

Like what Zoe and Iron Maw said, I agree that those were actually from the manga ^^; So no new villains at the moment.

But I think there are and will be some anime extras. Like the girl being chased at the trailer. I don't remember that from the manga xD Hehe.

Yeah i had a feeling that i saw Lupin before, also i don't rember the mafia guys wearing masks eating souls in Black stars first chapter either so it does look like their making minor changes already.

I'm sure we will get the odd filler episode or two in the first half similar to FMA episodes 3 and 4 if I remember the right ones.

Yeah and at least one or two of the episodes will probably be recap episodes as well. But i'm not bothered by a couple of filler episodes, but if the series were to end with the current arc that is being scanlated it would kinda of annoy me unless they altered it quite a bit. Still if anything it looks like their going to be able to fit a chapter into an episode as the first three episodes will be the charcater intro chapters, and as the 'medusa' arc finishes at chapter 22 episode 22 will probably be where the anime breaks off from the manga.

I'm betting the Medusa arc will end around the 25/26 episode point since it will be the end of that cour and will also allow them to start the next arc with a new intro. Speaking of intros has there been any commercials with the T.M Revolution song playing in the background or any way to listen to a preview of it?

Well come monday there's only going to be two weeks before soul eater first airs so their may be an ad for the series soon but it'll probaly only be a few seconds long (what animes timeslot is the edited version of soul eater replacing?). As for a preview there may be one the website soon or perhaps not.

A few seconds is all I need, I just want to see what sound he's going with for the intro, I can't imagine a SEED/Destiny type intro for this series and if he was going to have a rockier edge he should've stayed in that abingdon boys school group which did the first OPS for Darker Than Black and D.Gray Man.

I believe that the edited version of Soul Eater is replacing some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, I think I asked this question on the first few pages of the thread... or maybe it was in AnimeOnDVDs thread for this.. whatever.

Interesting CM with a few scenes not shown in the trailer I believe, the song sounds like a typical T.M Revolution song of the last few years. It could work, need to see the intro to really judge it though.

Insert song by Taku Iwasaki probably, he's been doing the odd hiphop style track in Kekkaishi (Mother -cker) and Gurren Lagann (Rap wa Kan + 5 thousand variations) and it looks he will throw in one here as well.

My wonder is what will the subbers do with the uncut episodes, will they sub the edited versions as soon as they come out or wait for the uncut version later on in the week?

There's such a gap between the two, that, as long as the show doesn't suck, you can bet that there will be groups for each showing.

Or subbers could just do a v2 for the uncut episodes. It's not like the uncut episodes are going to ad a lot of text now is it?
