Let's keep the khrack in the other thread though and to that end I'll respond to this there sometime soon hopefully.

While I believe that Kha theory has 0% chance to happen I wouldn't mind if it did. It was really interesting! You should write a fanfic of it oneday.

Yeah the Fuso invasion, and other revelations associated with the Gallia retreat, is planned to be the climax battle in a future fic of mine, if I bother to get cracking on it beyond wild theories.

Minna-Dietlinde Wilcke (MG-42, Affiliation: Karlsland JG 3 Luftwaffe)

Erica Hartmann (MG42 and a MP40, Affiliation: Luftwaffe JG 52)

Gertrud Barkhorn (MG42, MG131, or MG151, Affiliation: Luftwaffe JG 52)

This is only the characters from the anime though. If you want I can make the sig/avatar for you. PM me with your specifications and a pic of choice (or I can choose one myself).

I stumbled on this little image while scouring Danbooru, with translations already done, it was easy to make a quick and dirty edit for convenience sake:

Now, this timeline poses several interesting questions. For one, several notions of 'Germany' are made, even after the official formation of Karlsland, and there is no official statement of Germany 'dissolving' so what's up with that? It also seems that every time 'disturbances' are mentioned they are related to Neuroi.

Also, I chuckled at the Wright brothers becoming the Wright sisters. Looks like every important person in Strike Witches gets genderbent.

There were a number of translation mistakes in that iirc. Most of it is fine though afaik.

Such as
  1. Magic Revolution, not steam
  2. All those "disturbances" are strongly implied to be Neuroi outbreaks/battles, and the wording would have to be changed for a number of those.

Well, Georgia is just about born by SW-timeline, does she not? Unless you're looking far ahead into the Regent of Fuso, Rozen Asoka, the goth-loli chief adviser to the Emperor.

Otherwise, it's just Sharry Truman now. But Chingiz Khan was indeed lol.

I lol'd.

Hmm, Archemedia? Kaiser Wilhelmia ordering the declaration of the first great war on behalf of karsland? If you're looking at the white house, what about Henrietta S. Truman declaring the war in the pacific?

The ultimate genderbend indeed. I'm surprised Vasilica da Gama didn't discover the East-India trade route herself

(God, this needs pics.)

Well, lets keep the inventors as girls while us men do the exploring and conquering.

An interesting little news tidbit I happened to stumble across. Strike Witches Volume 1 has sold over 10.000 copies, making it the best selling Gonzo TV-series production in seven years, the last one being Vandread way back in 2001.

If there were any doubts remaining on whether there would be a second season, I think we can wash them away now.

Lets hope this "hype" for the dvds last long enough until the final volume. Until then I'm not going to get to "hyped" up for a second season.
