I found it amusing that in the first 1/3 of episode 10, Stalker-girl was nowhere to be seen around Itoshiki-sensei; but then we saw that she was actually tied to a tree back at school and unable to escape.

i didn't really tihnk the first 3 episodes were very good.

It's less artsy, less funny, and more fanservice (which i didn't really mind in ep 4 hikimori girl ftw)

Is it just me, or is it really getting increasingly hard to understand jokes in the latter episodes? I'm getting a feeling that they have reduced the amount of action and increased the amount of speech.

About Nozomu as a detective and ending with every one of those girl dieing...
Well, it was funny and kind of interesting.
But it was still... strange...

The last part goes back to the normal and wonderful Zetsubou Sensei, where they talk about wishes, past life, and the next life.
Some really funny wishes, especially Chiri's super long one or Nami's Ipod Nano.

The detective part is, according to wiki.kumetan.net (Which I look for most references), is a 'parody' of 'Ten Dark Women' (「黒い十人の女」), a 1961 film directed by Kon Ichikawa. I don't think it's so much a parody than a tribute, though the Eva/Kaede part made me go WTF.

Kon passed away on 14 Feb 2008, age 92. He had pneumonia.

Of course SHAFT's version is 黒い十二人の絶望少女, or 'Twelve Dark Zetsubou shoujo-tachi'. ;p
