"Head Librarian?" Hayate hesitantly stepped into the Infinity Library. The place look like it always does, and yet... it just doesn't feel the same.

"Commander Yagami?" A feminine voice called out from above. Looking up, Hayate saw Uno floating down. "You are here for the Caledfwlch case, correct?"

"Yes" Hayate replied.

"The info on the blade have already been collected, I just need to call my assistant to bring it over. Can you wait a while?"

"It's alright." Hayate sat down on one of the couch. As she did, she can't help but notice the glasses that Uno is wearing. She has seen the lavenderette wear them for a while, but now that she takes a closer look, they look kinda familiar.

"Thank you." Uno opened up a communication screen. After a few seconds, a blond woman appeared on the other side.

"Due, where are you?"

"Section B5" Due replied. "I'm rearranging a few things. It's something wrong?"

"Could you bring the data that we worked on yesterday? Commander Yagami is here to retrieve it."

"Sure. Hold on for a sec" The blond shrugged "Just finished anyway."

"Thank you." The line cut off at that point. Uno turned to Hayate. "Would you like something to drink, Commander?"

"No, thank you." Hayate shook her head.

"Very well. I apologize, but I must get back to work. There are a few more cases that need to be resolved today."The former Number bowed, before floating up, a few holoscreen appearing in front of her.

Silence followed. After a while, it became too much for Hayate. She wanted to talk, but she doesn’t know what to talk about. Fortunately, Due came in, holding what appeared to be a portable driver in her hand.

“Uno?” the blond called out “Here’s the data you asked.”

“Thank you Due. Give them to the Commander please.” The other woman inclined her head toward Hayate.

“Sure. Here you go.”Due plopped down on the couch next to Hayate, handing her the driver. “So how’s life treating you?”


“Its fine, I guess” Hayate smiled at the blond. Just then, she noticed something. “Hey, did you change your hairstyle?”

“Huh?” Due blinked, slightly floored by the sudden question.

“I mean, you usually let it flow, but you tied it up, right?” Hayate asked.

“Yeah, it kept getting in the way whenever I need to do some heavy works” Due shrugged.

Hayate nodded, but she can’t help but feel that it’s not the only reason Due did. After all, the style looked too similar to what he used to wear.

“How are your Knights doing?” Due’s question snapped Hayate out of her temporal trance.

“They’re doing fine, although Zafira is a bit fidgety these days. I’m guessing that he finally asked Arf out.” Hayate smiled at that. Seeing the big man pacing around the house muttering about café and ice creams is just too funny.

“Really? Well good for them.” Due then smirked “By the way… how’s the Admiral?”

“You mean Chrono?” Hayate tilted her head to one side in curiosity. She knew they knew each other, but why would Due ask about him? They weren’t that close to begin with.

“Did he finally ask that nun out?” Due’s question brought a grin to Hayate’s face.

“Rumors are going around that he did.” Hayate giggled. “Whenever someone asked, he would just deny it. But too quickly, in my opinion.”

“Good” the ponytailed blond chuckles “They’re pretty much perfect for each other.”

Hayate have to agree with that. Both Chrono and Carim are serious people by nature, but there are times where they can be very playful. Although where as the Admiral leans more toward the serious side, the Sister leans toward the latter.

“Due, can you help me up here?” Uno called out from above

“Sorry, gotta go.” The blond floated up to where her sister is, and begin collecting a large number of books from the shelves. Both of them descended, and Due put the stack on the table with a loud “thump”.

“Umm…” Hayate spoke up “If you don’t mind me asking, why do you need so many book?”

“We’re taking a short leave of absence.” Due replied for her sister, as the latter is now busy going through the books.

Hayate was about to ask why, then she remembered. A sad smile played upon her lips.

“It’s been 2 years already, huh?”
“Time flies” Due replied curtly. “If you excuse me, I need to help my sister, otherwise she might collapse again.”

“I’ll see you two tomorrow” Hayate waved to the two.

*****Next day*****

Hayate and the Wolkenritter descended from the ship. It has taken a few hours to travel from Mid Childa, so it was approaching noon when they arrived. Thankfully, their destination is no that far from the space airport, so it shouldn’t take much time to travel there.

Arriving at the graveyard, they were surprised when they saw Tre and Sette heading in the opposite direction. The two Numbers said nothing, merely acknowledging them and continuing on their way.

As they pass the gates, Hayate saw Uno and Due already there, the former praying while the latter seems to be talking to the gravestone. A soft smile appeared on Hayate’s lips. Memories from 2 years ago surfaced from her mind…

“Idiot” It was almost whisper, and if it wasn’t for the fact there is nobody there, Hayate wasn’t sure she would have caugh it. Sneaking around, she saw the first two Numbers over at his grave.

“You f*cking idiot!” The blond screamed, punching the gravestone. “Why? Why the hell did you have to go and be all heroics? Why damn it!”

“Because it’s who he is, Due” Uno said. Her voice was calm, but Hayate was sure that she had caught the tiniest hint of grief in it.

“Idiot” Due collapsed, and even from her hiding spot, Hayate could tell the assassin was sobbing “I didn’t even tell him…”

Uno sat down and hugged her sister. The blond continued to cry, tears flowing from her eyes.

Silently, Hayate left the sisters. The images of the two cyborgs, one comforting her crying sister, would never left her memories.

After all, it was one of her friends that accidentaly did it…

“Commander Yagami?” Hayate blinked. She didn’t realized it, but apparently she walked all the way over here. “Are you alright?”

“I’m fine” Hayate smiled at the purple haired woman. “Thank you for your concerns. If you don’t mind me asking, how long are you staying here.”

“2-3 days” Due replied. “After that, we’ll return to Mid Childa.”

“I see” Signum nodded. “Then I wish you the best”

“Thank you, Lieutenant” Uno nodded.

“So, wolf man…” Due smirked at Zafira’s direction. Said person tensed, knowing what was about to come. “Finally asked her out,eh? You sly dog you.”

“You should have seen him” Vita grinned “He was all red when he return home. Hell, even my outfit weren’t that red.”

“I though he had gotten sick.” Shamal chuckled. “I ordered him to go get some rest, and when he refused, I almost asked Lady Hayate to send him to the hospital.”

The group share a small laugh at Zafira’s sulking expression. Even Uno, the ever stoic one, was smiling slightly.

“Heh, now I really wanted to see that scene.” Suddenly, Due narrowed her eyes “… Excuse me, but I’m going over here for a sec”

The blond hurriedly left the group. Everyone was confused, until Hayate saw what was in Due’s eyesight.

Nanoha and Fate have just arrived.

"What. The. Hell?" Due muttered. Her breathings were erratic, and her face feels hot. Too hot.

Looking down, she grimaced when she saw the wet spot on the bed.

'Great' the blond mentally sighed 'This is gonna be embarrassing'

All because of that stupid dream...

It started simple enough. She was watching the TV when Yuuno came in to visit her.

“How are you, Due?” The bespectacled blond had asked when he sat down.

“I’m bored. Really bored” The blond replied lazily.

“Nothing interesting on the TV?”

“Nope.” The white clad blond paused, then smirked as an idea came to her “Why don’t you join me over here? You look like you could use some rest.”

Yuuno blushed a bit, but remained calm. “I’m fine, thanks. I’ll just stay over here.” The lackluster reaction was probably the first clue. Unfortunately, her dream self didn’t noticed it.

“Come on” Slowly, she crawled toward him, a seductive grin on her face. “I’m really lonely here without you you know.”

In retrospect, the fact that he didn’t say anything should have alerted her. Usually, he would have started to stammer and try to turn away by now.

“Just… lie down for a while.” Gently, she started to caress his face. “I’ll make all of your worries go away”

Then she leaned in for a kiss. It was just supposed to be a small peck on the lips to tease him. Unfortunately –or fortunately, she’s not really sure about that part- Yuuno kissed her back. What started as a chaste kiss turned into a battle for dominance, one which she surprisingly loss.

The next thing Due knew, Yuuno had somehow pinned her to the bed, his left hand keeping both of her hands above her head, his right hand now caressing her face.

“What the-“ Due squirmed under his body. This was not supposed to be happening. “Yuuno, what are you doing?”

“What?” The other blond smirked “I though you’re lonely? I’m just helping you, that’s all”

“That’s not … “ Due squeaked when his free hand start to wander. Then she felt another one joining its brother. She tried to move her hands, only to find that Yuuno had somehow managed to chain her to the bed with his Chain Bind.

“Not what?” He whispered into her ears. Due shuddered. His voice… it sounded… seductive.

“This isn’t like you, Yuuno! Stop-“ She stifled a gasp as one of his hand descend past her stomach.

“Stop what?” the librarian nibbled her ears, sucking her earlobe slightly.

“Y-y-you know w-what I-I’m talking about?” Due stuttered. It was getting harder for her to concentrate. At this rate, I’m not gonna make it…

“All you have to do…” Yuuno had move on to her neck, and was now nuzzling her hair “is ask”

By now, the librarian was massaging her backside with one hand, while the other works on her … personal spot. It was getting harder to resist

“Don’t… “Due whispered.

“Don’t what?” He was teasing her now, she know it. And yet…

“Don’t…” Due gulped “Don’t stop.”

“As you command, my lady.” What comes next would forever be claimed as “Best. Dream. Ever” for the Cyborg

And then she woke up, sweating heavily.

‘Gah’ Due groaned mentally ‘Why oh why did that happens?’

The former assassin continues to turn in her bed, unable to sleep due to the dream she just had.

***** Next day

“Good morning Due” Yuuno greeted as he enter, a puzzled look on his face. The guards have been acting funny that day. One was grinning like a shark, while the other, more stoic one, seems to be trying to keep his laughter in check.

“Yo.” Due stiffened, not daring to turn around. The memory of last night’s dream was still vivid in her mind.

“Due, what’s wrong?” Yuuno asked with a concerned tone. “Are you alright?”

“I’m fine.” She replied stiffly.

Yuuno frowned. Walking around, he sat down in front of Due. “Are you sure?”
“I-I said I’m fine!” Due was really nervous, but thankfully she managed to hide it well.

Then she almost lost it when Yuuno leans in, their foreheads touching.

“Your temperature feels normal” Yuuno muttered to himself “So why is your face all red? Are you sure you’re not…Ow!”

Yuuno’s question was cut off when Due headbutted him. Then she grabbed the pillow and start hitting him with it.

“Ow! Hey, cut it out! Ow! That hurt, you know!”

“Shut up shut up shut up!”

“Ow ow ow! Okay, that’s it! Chain Bind!”

“H-h-hey, w-what the? L-l-let me g-go!” Due squeaked. This was starting to resemble her dreams waaaay too much.

“Not until you calm down.” Yuuno replied, massaging where Due had hit him with the pillow.

“T-this isn’t f-funny, you know!” Due shouted. “Le-ummmph!”

“Shhh, keep quiet!” the librarian whispered, clamping one hand over her mouth. “You don’t want…” Yuuno trailed off and blinked, as the former Number had apparently fainted.

----- Outside

“Ten bucks say that they’re doing it.”

“You do remember that we had to soundproof the room last night, right?’

First time writing this sort of scene, so please help me if there's any problem with it.
As for the inspirations... blame Iron and his Dark Signum's snippets.

I'm lost and clueless, I'm missing a lot of events that brought the death of Due, Uno and Yuuno in your alternative universes.

Dream omake was fluffy, nuff said.

Well, I was just trying my hands at some tragedy. The general idea is this: THe three, along with a few others, were send to uncover an dig site related to the Eclipse case. The Hucks attacked the place, and S6 fought them. The first case, Uno and Due stayed behind with Yuuno and push him out of the way of debris, killing them. The 2nd case, Yuuno force teleport them back to the ship, before looking for any survivors. Just when he finised the last one out, the cellings collapsed on him.
In both case, it was caused by a stray shot from Nanoha.

Really, it depends on what you want to project. Theoretically speaking any idea can be transformed into something amazing, but the most important thing is still this: What do you want people to see in your story?

And write it. Let the story do the telling and not the idea.

Honestly? I didn't even plan that far yet. Right now, it's still just fragmented ideas floating around in my head.

There's so many holes in that idea I don't even know where to fix. Guess I need to marathon Nanoha again.

"Sector K267," the Mariage on the roof spoke before stopping as she was suddenly wrapped up in extremely tight binds. "Interesting." She turned her head to see a young woman with long orange hair pointing a gun at her while four gems on her belts glowed lightly. "Powerful binding magic."

"I am Teana Lanster and you're under arrest for suspicions of murder, arson and..."

"It doesn't matter." The Mariage said and looked away from the girl. "I now know where to go, a small group shall converge on that point soon, and if Tredia Graze or any of his associates, they shall fall for keeping us away from our king."

Teana's eyes widened as the Mariage's body seemed to become a thick oil and she started to dissolve into a puddle. "Sector K267," the Mariage said with its last breath, before the liquid erupted violently, sending flames roaring across the roof and Teana crossed her arms in front of her as she was blasted back and towards the edge.

Grunting, Teana shook her head to get the spots out of her vision as well as the ringing out of her ears. "Something's not right here." She muttered to herself. She may not have trusted Due at all, but if she was right and Tredia really was dead, why would his name come up twice? It was possible that Tredia cloned himself using Project F. Between Fate and Erio, she knew about it, though she didn't know too many details, since talking about it wasn't easy for either of those two. There were other ways for a dead person to be running around, of course.

Still, something about that was just wrong in her mind, Teana hadn't heard nor seen any hints that Graze was behind the problem, not until Runessa found that information.

"Lanster," Teana blinked and looked over to see Sette, Mr. Snuggles and Cinque floating in mid-air. "Are you harmed?"

"A little scratched up, but I'm fine," Teana said and blinked as she saw Sette relax, or at least Sette seemed to relax at those words. It could have just been her imagination.

Sette nodded at that. "Good, it would... Not be good if you were harmed, like Ginga and Nove were."

Teana's eyes widened as she heard that. "Nove? Ginga? Are they okay?" Cinque nodded at her and Teana sighed, glad for that.

"Ginga's leg is injured but she should be able to recover normally. Nove won't be able to help us for at least a week, however." Cinque bit her lip lightly, Nove wasn't one to get injured easily, she couldn't imagine how dangerous things were going to get soon. "Wendi's getting them to a doctor right now." Her eye widened as she saw Subaru come through the door to the roof, looking a bit melancholic. "Subaru, are you okay?"

"Huh?" Subaru blinked as she tried to clear the thoughts running through her mind. "Sorry, I was distracted by something. What's going on?"

"I need you to go somewhere for me." Teana nodded to the cyborg. "There was something that woman said that has me thinking. Do you know any sector called K267?"

Subaru scratched her head. "Isn't that near that old ship yard where they dump broken ships to be used as scrap metal and spare parts?" Teana nodded at her. "And you want me to go there, why?"

"I'm thinking that the cause of this whole mess is somewhere there. Just go and see if you can find any life forms out there, okay?" Subaru nodded and took off in the direction of the ship yard. "Cinque, Sette, Mr. Snuggles, we need..." She was cut off as a beeping sound was heard. "Now what?"

"Teana, are you busy right now?" Caro asked as her image popped up on a view screen. "Because, if you aren't, Erio and I could use a little help here."

"Are there others with you?" Teana asked as Caro nodded before turning and firing a beam of energy off screen.

"There was a fire that broke out down town and we were woken up by Sein who asked us to help. But now there's a lot of women who look exactly the same and they're strong and fast!"

Teana's pupils shrank as she heard that. "We're on our way, just hang on." When the view screen turned off, Teana's eyes widened as Sette grabbed her from behind and took off flying, with Mr. Snuggles on her shoulder and Cinque following right behind.

"Cinque left orders for the Ground Forces to get those fires under control, there were no more life signs in the building, so the fire will not be a big problem anymore."

Teana nodded, hoping that Erio and Caro were okay.

Erio panted as he landed on the ground and looked up, staring as those masked women continued to walk towards him. "Damn it." He jumped out of the way as over ten of them fired some sort of arm cannon at him, unfortunately, the wall behind him was not quite as adept at dodging and ended up with a giant gaping hole in its side.

"Ragudo Mezzagis, pierce them!" Erio called out as he ignited the magic spear in his hands and thrust forward, a solid beam of destructive energy lashed out, running through at least six of the Mariages in one shot. Erio turned his head and his eyes widened as he saw four Mariage suddenly appear less than a foot from him. "Chain Lightning!" He called out, a Belkan triangle forming under his feet as daggers shot out from the array and slammed into the four, electrocuting them instantly. Taking a deep breath, Erio spun the Lance of Light as he got back into a defensive stance and gawked at the fact that even though he had just killed ten, there were at least twenty more coming after him. "What's going..." What he was about to say was cut off as the building behind him groaned and started to collapse. Sparing a quick look behind him, his eyes widened as he saw someone falling from the top floor. "Hang on!"

Spinning, Erio jumped straight up and, using Levitation magic, grabbed the falling body before the person could get hurt by debris and flew to a different building. "Are you okay?" He blinked as he got a look at the body. The person was a woman with bushy red hair that seemed to cover her eyes completely. She wasn't too tall, Erio found out as he put her down so she could stand up, coming to only about a head taller than he was, her frame was fairly average, and her breasts weren't too large, though Erio mentally slapped himself as he found himself staring at them. "Uh, miss?"

She suddenly smiled at him and nodded. "Quite." The next instant surprised the heck out of Erio as she leaned in and kissed him on the cheek. It didn't last long, but it was still enough that Erio's face quickly matched his hair in color. "I shall not forget this, my hero." She turned and started to walk away, her hips swaying in such a way that Erio quickly found that he had to swallow to get his mouth moist again. "If you must know, little hero, my name is Lyla."

Erio nodded and shivered slightly. "Beautiful."

"ERIO-KUN!" An angry female voice shrieked from behind him. Turning, he started sweating heavily as Caro glared at him from on top of Fried's back. "There's an army of masked women destroying everything and you're flirting with some floozy?!" Caro wasn't sure if she was a floozy, but kissing Erio and then walking off like that had to make her one.

Right?

"Kurr!" Fried snorted and launched a gout of flame down at the Mariages, hitting some and causing them to explode, but missing most as they effortlessly dodged out the way.

"Dang it!" Erio called out as he created several blades of lightning and sent them out into the quickly forming crowd. "This is going to take forever!"

Caro nodded as she sent magic spells down at the crowd, covering Fried and providing barriers for Erio and her Dragon when the Mariages fired cannon blasts at them. Caro made the mistake of looking up to see just how many there were coming and nearly wet herself in fright.

The streets, from what she could see, were completely full of these weird women.
