I just found this 'series' in the book store the other day, bought 1 and 2, and then looked up to see about more and i cant find anything about it. Tokyopop.com all it said was that volume 1 and 2. I cant find anywhere saying why its only 2 volumes long, even though its just a bunch of cliff hangers.

If you Google "Mugen Spiral manga" you should get a number of hits, most of whcih seem to confirm that it was only 2 volumes (e.g. ANN).

yea toke bit longer then normal to find that out
