On Rule III.iv.A:

A. At the end of the regular season, the sixteen top-ranked Candidates via the cumulative standings system explained in Section III, Subsection iv, will take part in the postseason, which will be held within four to five weeks after the end of the final regular season Match
1. All matches occurring in the postseason will follow the regulations stated in Section III, Subsection iv, Rule C, with an amendment on Rule C.4.c as stated below.
2. At the end of an overtime Match, should one occur within the postseason, if both Candidates have the same number of votes, the Candidate who won the respective match between the two Candidates in the regular season will be declared the winner. If the respective match between the two Candidates in the regular season resulted in a draw, the Candidate with the higher rank in the regular season standings system explained in Section III, Subsection iv, Rule D will be declared the winner.

Isn't the parts in bold referring to the regular season? Because if it is it should be subsection iii and not iv.

lol dont even bother with most of the rules, those are there for the insanely obsessive voters like Mad Dog so minty has a way to shut people like him up. the rest of us "normal" voters can jsut vote and go along day by day :S

Most of the rules are pretty obvious or common sense. Or they would take a really quick layman's explanation to understand. But we do have to follow through formally with all the procedures just to cover all the bases and make sure we're secure legally.

chaos: I'll leave that rules decision up to Minty. It could go in either section I guess.

In the meantime, a new contestants.php is up with the previous one moved back to contestants_table.php

Hooray for PHP. Makes things SO much easier.

Wow, Taiga is way up there. The only other one that comes close, and breaks 100, is Haruka. Interesting.

MAL character fav. statistics are pretty flawed. Louise has over 600...
And that's more than any Kyoani character, outside of Lucky Star and Haruhi characters.

But that's for "rookie" characters so it only reflects the past couple of months. That's still a huge difference for Taiga.

It's Kugimiya, of course people will jump the gun and favorite her 15episodes before the series completion. But she's a really mean loli, and we saw how far that got Louise. I think she's going to be hit or miss, as voters will either love her, or hate her. Still going to do better than most, but whether or not she can compete with Kyoani, is a entirely different story, since I don't think she's going to be another Shana.

Well, and those MAL stats are for "favorite character" which doesn't necessarily translate to moe.

Then again, some don't bother to take that difference into consideration. I like Taiga a lot, but don't know that she'll end up very high on my moe list. Taiga won't even come close to being another Shana. Shana wipes the floor with her on character design alone.

And I'm tired of hearing about KyoAni. I hope Nagi walks all over them. Seems I read somewhere that Kannagi has the highest number of active threads at 2chan... which is probably a better measurement than MAL.
