NOBODY TOLD ME PYRITE WAS FOOL'S GOLD!!!! AAAAAHHHHHH!!! But I have to admit, it's a really interesting thing to see that theme running through this...haha, I thought it was just some random rock thing that was blown out of proportion by that really good marketer.

Well, for me, Volume 3 has been one of the best books I've read in a long time . The anime ended, and Spice and Wolf fever caught alot of us. I'm so glad there were enough people that stuck to the story to see what would really happen, and what Spice and Wolf really could turn out to be. There are currently 8 volumes out, and 9 coming out in September, So I can't wait to see what else happens...

Spoiler for Volume 3:

I loved it very much. I can't wait until I can help out either

hmm.. interesting analogy with the fools gold.. I looked for info on pyrite when I first saw the name.. but somehow I didn't see such a connection.
Or maybe it's really just a bit too much thinking on your side ^_^

I think it might be hard to translate Volume 3 into the anime's style. Such long stretches of the book are inner monologues of what Lawrence is thinking. We don't hear Lawrence's thoughts in the show.

well we still don't have the first and second volume translation (not full first V.) so I can't say precicely, but somebody (I think it was judge) said that they did a good job in making the anime from those 2novels..
So they could somehow turn this around.. Since A lot of time will be withoutHoro.. they could easily implement Lawrences thoughts.. But somehowI would maybe like that the12 episodes would be not 2 novels againg but only the third.. It should make for better unfolding of events anh characters.. also a few romantic scenes between Horo and Lawrence are worth it esp.
Spoiler for v3 epi:

Butthat's all wishful thinking for now.. the 2nd season is still not announced, right??

A second season feels pretty likely given that Imagin (At least from what's on their wiki) isn't the most prolific animation studio and this appears to of been a big hit for them.

Actually I wrote very early on this thread providing a link to wiki concerning Iron pyrite which clearly writes; "Fool's Gold" redirects here. For other uses, see Fool's Gold (disambiguation).

Now who is doing the translation for continuing series.
Spoiler for Concerning Volume 5&6:

You shouldn't rush the events so ^_^ I mean the vol 5 & 6 mentioning..
Since we don't have that many translators, we're waiting forthe closest chance, and that would be vol 4..

And I agree with Judge.. although not much info, but still a spoiler ^_^

I don't know.
Now you guys must be craving to read further to place my words into context.
That is how I stir excitement into the series.

I can suggest reading the "translation" topic.. You'll see that the only thing we DON'T lack is excitement for this series
But still you should make some spoiler tags for that phrase..

If it was an option, we WOULD read further man.

I hate myself for it, but I can't help myself when it comes to spoilers. I actually would like to hear brief summaries of those two books, could you write some more Tri-Ring?

Sorry but I am busy at the moment writing summaries on ~guillotine~ the second volume for Kurenai and would probably be killed as I am slow as it is.
