It definitely is too early to take a tier list seriously but it is interesting to see how it changes and who is spot on. For instance Mago (2dgod) said Fei Long was top tier a month after Super Street Fighter came out, pretty much all of SRK laughed at him.. 6 months later and he's cemented himself as the best SSFIV player in Japan and they're not laughing anymore.
Actually looking at the list by Mago and Nemo.. if you change maybe 3-4 positions their pretty much spot on for Super's lifetime. Also damn @ Tsubaki in that YCYDr6LsRu8 vid, Dat 5d charge. Now who do I play? Noel, Lamda or Tsubaki? Hope my arcade gets BBCS2 fairly soon.. I know they'll get 6 setups of AE for SFIV like 2 days after release but I hope BBCS2 isn't that far behind. |

BBCS2 won't be coming to arcades outside of Japan in the foreseeable future, the Nesica X Live service it uses requires a high-speed fiber-optic internet connection. The balance changes will be coming to the console version around the same time as Platinum (Spring... or Autumn if you live in the southern hemisphere).

And yeah Makoto is pretty much the new "Bang" now, perhaps even stronger. |

BBCS2 has been announced for PSP release in March. PSP exclusive features include 4P Versus Mode (which I'm going to assume is just 2 fighters and 2 spectators in ad-hoc and not something REALLY stupid) and Abyss mode, a dungeon RPG-like mode.

Footage of Nagoya Street Battle 18 is up, all first 17 NSB's were for Street Fighter IV/Super Street Fighter IV but NSB18 turned into BlazBlue Continuum Shift 2 championships.
http://shoryuken.com/content/nagoya-...pionship-2953/ 5 hours of footage. Last edited by Westlo; 2010-12-28 at 04:52. |

Which part of the graphics, because if we're talking about the high-definition 2D sprites I will cry heresy right here and now I swear, say no to blocky 3D rendering in fighting games!!
If we're talking animation.... yeah, you're probably right, though the last attempt with the BBCS2 intro song was actually pretty good in my opinion.

Indeed. Between portraits for CT and CS, I prefer CT's for the older characters. Especially Noel. Speaking of her...
Spoiler for Thoughts on Noel:
Spoiler for Some questions post-CS:

Lord, the animations in CT are BAD. No excuses.
Anyway, been thinking of some character designs to answer a question of mine: How would the characters be like without Hazama/Terumi and Relius as we know them? Spoiler for the siblings..:
Spoiler for the Clover family:
