lol i dont particularly like either Mio or Yuuno. Both my friend and me like Hiiragi Noa out of the girls shown so far.

Or look at Index. The growing Misaka popularity made her to be the real heroine of Index instead of Index herself. And author became more draw to giving her more time as well, It could happen the same with MM as well, or not?
Hurray for misaka she is the best character in that series, tho misaka isnt given that much focus that she takes over for index (i wish tho).

Fan popularity can be a scary thing. The best example of that is Kempfer novels. As you know Shizuku was just one of the heroines, and not the main one clearly, but her popularity with the fans was so big that editors pressed the author to give author more Shizuku focus. Author snapped and showed a middle finger - created a rush ending where MC ends with another girl. Fans started rage and now it seems like the author is forced to redo the ending again.
lol i didnt hear about this, GOOD that ending was crap. The ending was firing worthy.

The "mysterious" girl in the preview for the next episode of MM!'s anime is...
Tarou.
Cross-dressing.

No, not his cousin.

In the original story, he dressed up as a girl to give a valentine's chocolate to a guy who was causing a lot of chaos because he's so incredibly bitter over not being popular and not getting any chocolate.

So our Tarou-chan finally makes an appearance in the anime. BTW, am I the only one who feels the anime's pacing is lightning fast? Tarou-chan appearance is in... 5th volume if I'm not wrong right? And it's just 8 episode so far. That's like 1 volume in 1.5 episode?

Hmm, I thought it was Tarou after running afoul of one of Noa's inventions.

Oh well, if he needs any cross-dressing tips, I guess he could always ask
Tatsukichi.

Rather than lightning paced, it just feels like the anime is jumping all over the place. It did the first arc correctly, but after that, it pretty much went wherever the staff wanted it to go, jumping forward a few volumes, jumping back a volume or two, etc.

So did the author reveal Mio's past? Pretty much it became a problem on people who watch the anime that Mio is "poorly portrayed" and bashed by others because of her "unreasonable" abuse to Tarou. Even with that, I still became a Mio fan.

Definitely the anime series caused the added votes for Yuuno. Still Mio is still on the second. Is this an indication that Yuuno will still be the END girl?

Well if anime has a more to go and focuses on Mio more this time it would shift again to Mio's favor. And since in teh last volume we finally got some Mio focus in terms of relationship and romance (she was lacking of it) so it may go each way as far as the end girl.

The author may see the votes and think "Oh shit - maybe I am doing something wrong if heroine is just second best. I need to focus more on her from now on." or "Yuuno is more popular between fans so I need to give them her end."

But while anime did boost Yuuno (not surprisingly as she looked like the main heroine than Mio and had more focus throughout the series) it should eventually fade away and Mio will probably overtake the popularity top again.
