bitTorrent

Hey, I have a question about bitTorrent.

I downloaded a ton of torrent files and just saved them onto my computer so I could run them at any time without having to go the website again. Does this have any effect on my ability to download. Half the torrents I downloaded say "tracker down." What does this mean and is there anything I can do about it? Would redownloading the file change anything?

Thanks,
TranquilChant

if your torrent file is quite old, it's not impossible that the tracker got it's address changed. so you'll have to download the .torrent again

I figured something along those lines but I have downloaded them all in the past week. They should be completely fine, correct?

Thanks
