I like the semi-retro art style. It's a breath of fresh air to the more generic style you get these days. Very Metropolis-ish, only more sleek. The post-apocalyptic setting is hella depressing though. It's reminding me of way back when I was dragging my feet trying to finish those last few episodes of Wolf's Rain. Still, it looks like the situation may improve. Looking forward to new episodes of this. =)

(now if only i can stop mentally adding "-kuma" at the end of all of Casshern's sentences)

Casshern's survival program activated -> massive massacre.

Seems like robots have their own ways of surviving, even willing to become cannibals just because some stupid rumors. I like the way they portrayed that because of fear of 'death' they feel 'alive'. So sad but at the same time beautiful.

Best show so far along with 00 and Abyss in my book.

I made a fanfic story based on Casshern Sins

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4591838/1/Bury_the_Dead

It's based on episode 2, in case anyone's interested to know.

I like those sleek faster-than-the-eye-can-see beam slashes he does. Very, very top-of-the-range.

This has got to be the most underrated series this season I think. As for the Anime, I really like the action sequences and the art style, not to mention the story, w/c is really sad/depressing/emo but in a good way. All in all This and Toaru are the best shonen anime's this season. Gundam00 is of course no question, who doesn't watch gundam anyway. And there's also Tales, damn. Too many good action animes this season. >_>

You never know, because even Friender has a very lonely and sad story. I'm sure Casshern would pick up on that nuance.

I wish there'll be a modern version of that pic *_* It will certainly look COOL!!!!

I would also wish to see a Casshern and Dio pic . . . whether fighting or posing or whatever. I can just imagine it to be COOL!!! *_*

Oh drats to the lack of Casshern SINS official pics x_x Most magazine scans that I see are Gundam 00, etc.

^Hmm...in the picture, it looks like he's smiling. The one in this story doesn't seem to have a reason to smile like that just yet. Though with that pretty face of his, I'm sure it'd be dazzling. xxD

Ah, I just thought of a pic of Casshern and Friender as their modern versions, not exactly with that face and pose xD Hehe.

But a smiling Casshern would be nice *_* I find it more exciting to see characters who rarely smile to smile compare to characters that smile all the time xD hehe

This is one great series. Art style and atmosphere, the way we are thrown into the world with the exact same information Casshern has, the way the viewer discover the world and the story. This is one hell of a directing art.

Now I wonder how depressing the next episode is gonna be. According to the episode preview, it's about a human. I just hope he won't jump off a cliff or something

lets just hope he doesn't rot away like those robots when they get "ruined" lol. That'd be freaky watching him like his arm just falling of piece by piece or something.
