Where are the mermaids?

It has been a while since we have heard from Mermaid Melody Pitchi Pitchi Pitch and Mermaid's Forest. Are these projects still in production fansubbers? And how many episodes of each series are there?

Pichi continues off into infinity, I believe, or at least 52 eps. Also, it sucks, so it's really hard to get translators to do it (I know one got up to like 30 before he said, "I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!" and went off to persue other projects.), which is why you don't see it often.

My guess is that Mermaid's forest, which I anticipate to be 13 eps, was sidelined when Tofusensei of R-B went on a trip. Expect it to resume shortly.

Well, for Mermaid's Forest, only Live-eviL can answer that I believe (I don't believe anyone else has fansubbed it). As for Mermaid Melody, I know Shoujo-Anime is still in the process (a new ep should be out early this week), and I can only assume Lunar is still working on it.

I won't bother with the length of the series, as Tellu54 already mentioned that, so I hope the rest of the infomation is helpful.

I translated the episodes a few weeks back but I guess the editor is swamped w/ work because he is starting a new project at his job and he just started going out with some girl and lord knows how THAT can occupy your time and make you forget about editing, hehe ^^;;;

Anyway, they'll be out as soon as possible, don't worry!!!!

Mermaids show

Hi There,

I'm new here and I had seen screenshots from " Mermaid Melody Pitchi Pitchi Pitch " and I was wanting to know where I can atleast see one or two episodes and decide whether its worth renting or buying the show in the future.

I did look on the main site where there are torrents for it but when I click on it, all I get are torrents for Naruto or something like that >_<

Any help would be awesome!

Joy

Hmm. The TW section on scarywater does read Naruto, which is interesting.

The Naisho files should be "Mermaid Pichi Pichi Pitch Pure" ones, though. Are they "Naruto" digisubs instead?

And "MPPPP", despite its sweetness, isn't that bad, IMHO. Although I just watch the episodes once and be done with them afterwards.

Naisho would never do something as stupid as fake-subs of Naruto. Those torrents are quite really. Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch is licensed, but Naisho is continuing it anyway through Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch Pure which remains unlicensed as of today.

I translated 3 episodes of the sequel, and I got entirely sick of it. Only one of those was ever released...
