The best thing about this rendition was the lyrics. I think the person who made the English version of these lyrics did an amazing job but, this girl didn't do the song justice, I was kind of disappointed. It sounded like she was whispering while she was singing and it didn't help her at all. No offense to her but I would much rather hear a better singer take the task of singing this song because there were a lot of parts in the song where she sounded flat. The emotion was there but the singing wasn't. Granted, this song is very difficult because of the power required to sing it but she still could have done a much better job at singing this song. Nice try though

Only May'n can sing DC perfectly.

I love the lyrics, too. Though I think a few lines could be tweaked to make it better.
...But as I said, considering what a feat the song is (add the fact that this is done in English), it was a nice job and I think it's wonderful that she exerted a lot of effort and emotions to this song, as one should. But yes, it still needs a lot of improvement in a lot of areas (the chorus needed more power).

Don't get me wrong, I did appreciate her effort but singing this in English doesn't make it that more difficult because from what I could tell, she knew where to carry her notes and it sounded very faithful to the original. I would never ask someone to sing it perfectly but I felt that her attempt was flat at a number of parts. She had the basics nailed down, I just felt that she could have made this much better. She also messed up on a couple of parts from what I heard so all in all, it's a good effort. I wouldn't mind hearing someone else taking a hack at it with these English lyrics.

I honestly felt that was quite a nice rendition of the song. Nowhere near as good as any of the May'n versions, but... this is one hell of a power ballad, so, I think the girl did remarkably well. And the lyrics didn't turn out half bad, either. Kudos to her.
