So what exactly did you alter in the Epitaph explanation?

The whole discussion with Will and Bern regarding that Kanji reading.
Initially, you had that Kanji that could be read as capital, and only afterwards, with that reading, you can have another Kanji that leads to the word you need for the solution.

Of course, we just cannot shove to people an epitaph without a specific word. Therefore, the whole discussion about that word was reverse engineered: instead of having "Ougon no Kyou" being discussed how its meaning can change, we had to use Capital, turn it into a Kanji, then another one.

It is basically as if we were removing a step in the resolution and reversed its process. If you were to look at this explanation from a japanese perspective, it just looks extremely weird, but it was either that or a very convulated narrative so we chosed the less jarring method.

A bunch of new lines were added, including additional graphics to explain the tenth twilight as it was changed in the English version.

Basically if a Japanese with English reading competence were to read that part as it is shown in the witch hunt version, he'd get a very big help in getting to the right path.

But for an English speaker with poor or no competence in Kanji reading, it would still be almost impossible to make the whole reasoning, but that's how it is the original for a Japanese.

Anyway this hint isn't even strictly necessary after EP4 and it could be entirely overlooked.

I found a list of all the additional TIPS on the Japanese Umineko wiki, including where and roughly when they were originally released.

http://umineco.info/?追加TIPS

Can anyone verify if all the TIPS accounted for on this page also appear in Tsubasa?

魔法についての重要事項
アンチミステリーとアンチファンタジーについて
コーヒーのお話
密室殺人はなぜ美しいのか。
召還師からの手紙
あるウィッチハンターの取材テープ

Those appear to be the only ones missing. Though, I can't deny the possibility that they'll show up after reading all the other TIPS, the same way that you have to read through Bernkastel's letter to make all the other TIPS show up.

Missing from the game?

Someone who has played it should verify what is and what isn't in it.

If they didn't show up after reading Bern's letter, then they won't show up.

My friend experienced this problem:

can't open 'gloval.sav' for writing at line 309708 (*savemode_save:17)
>savegame %savedataNowNum

whenever she tries to save, is there any way to solve it?

Anti-Mystery vs Anti-Fantasy was more or less a letter from Ryukishi addressing his readers. Translating that 4th walling into the game would have been difficult, so I'm guessing he left it out for that reason. Likewise, Closed Room Murders was Beatrice addressing the reader as well. Think about how Bern was seemingly talking to us in the tea parties for EP 1-3. It would be confusing.

Plus, Tsubasa was released with EP 8, so those TIPs are a bit pointless now that the answer has been delivered. Anti-Mystery vs Anti-Fantasy was written around the time EP 4 came out, so you're talking two years and Closed Room Murders was written before even that I believe.

Yea, ordered Ep8 from Ami Ami... it's currently sitting at Sydney Customs, heh (yes, I paid for tracking).

[EDIT] Well, now apparently it left "from inward office of exchange" ... whatever that means.... Yea.. tracking is fun

What was the deal with that "Story of Coffee" thing, anyway?
