I probably shouldn't have read this thread but I read it anyway. Seems like a great ending.

Sucks that both Clannad and Toradora are ending this month though.

Predictable but happy ending.

Well, I'm kinda surprised that I get to see a light novel series end. Full Metal Panic is still on-going, along with many other popular LN-to-anime titles.

It seems inevitable that JCStaff chops some parts. But to me, the ending will be the same.

You mean, the novels.
The manga is simply an adaptation of the novel series, and it's only at 2nd volume.

Like Aohige said... but you *can* read a translation of the novels over at Baka-Tsuki Project (a light novel translation fan site). Its still in progress but a great deal is finished.

I just got the second volume of the manga series... its quite amusing (especially since they seem to be following the novel events so you get to see a lot of the "in-betweens" the anime doesn't portray).

edit: and I just realized I stumbled into the novel thread again without thinking... aieee! (runs away)

And that is exactly why it is good.

Originality is overrated. I've been saying it throughout the run of the entire series, but a story does not need to do something innovative to be good. It just needs to be well-written, which Toradora is.

Glad we'll see some short stories though, maybe get some closure to Ami and Minorin...

I really want to see a spin-off series about Kitamura, Maya, and any other girls in his harem, though. Would be great, and funny.

Can anyone tell me if any changes had been made in the conversation between Ami and Minori in Episode 22 ? I've heard that the anime doesn't follow the novel sometimes. Unfortunately there arent any translations beyond Volume 7.

Wasn't there an interview a few months back stating they are cooperating with the author or something and are following the novels all the way through?

Yes, JC were given the outline of the story in advance. Given the episode titles for 24 and 25 it's safe to assume that they did in fact put it to (good?) use.

Not sure what that means, since I haven't followed any anime for a while, but if that means a second season, then heck yea, PLEASE!
I approve that picture.

Considering how the anime is relatively tame in terms of... mature visual representations compared to its peers, I highly doubt we'll get any scene that confirms that they did indeed stuff the chicken. Maybe a few hints, but not actual "Yes I knocked up your daughter" moment.

Unless they do a Clannad, and that actually sounds like something Taiga would do...
