How to open a TTA file

recently i have downloaded some original soundtracks.. but after unzipping it, the result is a main tta. file and several some .cue files.. i wonder if anyone can help me with this issue? i am lacking in the computing department so please teach me step by step

Use an application like CueSplitter to split the main TTA into the individual tracks. TTA is a free lossless audio codec, so you can probably use whatever it is you use now to convert the format into another desired one. Personally, I use dBpoweramp.

The converter i have now does not support TTA.
can anyone recommend a converter that does this? will be most helpful if it is free..

Whoops, you'll also need the codec itself. Ain't packaged with the basics of dBpoweramp.
