Hm, I listened to the Chiru ED, and I was wondering if a full version is out yet.

Anyhow, the OST looks very nice indeed, and I was very surprised, in a good way, by dreamenddischarger.

Pretty much the only anime arrangement I'm looking forward to is Rougoku STRIP (heard the full version on Umineko Radio and it blew me away), but it's not on this album, so meh

I can confirm that 開かれた禁忌 is definitely not Golden Slaughterer remix at all. To begin with, I'm unusure if it was even used once in the anime, it was the track used in the Drama CD.

I personally didn't really fancy the remixes that much. To begin with, some are really changing some tracks in a weird fashion.
Generally speaking, most remixes sound more "amateurish" by the over abuse of synth and techno (especially System0 so to speak), but they generally keep the base of the original track. Also, they lose impact on some string/percussions, and tempo (for example, I think that mortal stamped sounds "slower" than its original version, because of the emphasis on the wind instruments).
While I loved the enchanting start of dreamend, when the said instruments start to kick in, they have put too much synth vibes in it (to the detriment of the violin portions).

That said, I must say I really liked moon, requiem and happiness of marionette.

Most of the anime original aren't exactly memorable, but they are fine for the franchise, unlike Higurashi scores, which were basically remix of the main theme and hardly inspiring.

If I'm right, then track 6 was also played in the first twilight of Legend in the Drama CD.

心奥の焔 (track 13) seems to be adapted from Answer, except without the piano melody.

The first 20 seconds of dreamenddischarger was really promising, but then the horrible synth guitar kicked in...

I really liked Hapiness of Marionette.
They better have a second OST, though.
Also, no offense, but why does everyone like Answer so much?
I found it a bit boring.

It's all about tastes.
Though I personally find it boring as well, so you're not alone.

Another ZTS masterpiece
Not as good as Mirage Coordinator, or even Worldend Dominator, but I still think It's cool

More than likely on a second ost, of course even with ample music remaining not all shows get their second release (due to poor sales for the first I guess?), see Darker than Black by Yoko Kanno and Kekkaishi by Taku Iwasaki for examples.

I don't think that a second ost will be released
there isn't a motion of " vol. 1 " , but the first higurashi ost did

They may not have called it a Vol 1 since they called it Crimson Rose, which means a second volume if released will be called "blah blah" instead of Volume 2. I don't think we'll see a Vol 2 anyway...

What do you guys think, how high are the chances that tracks from the Blue Box like "black Knight" and "Believe" will be in Episode 6? Or will there be only new unreleased tracks?

Well no one can say yes or no for sure, since EP 6 isn't even out until the 30th. I would love for some of the blue box songs to be in the game though, because they are so magnificent, but only time will tell.

Well I've heard of far, worldend dominator, and a bgm in episode 5 I can't remember. But these are fan-made ones, is that what you're talking about?
