My answer is that the idea that Chihiro has gone to the boat because that is the place where Keima kissed her could be wrong. What if that boat is simply the place where she goes when she is afraid for something and wants to be alone?

The fact that she is gone there isn't a strong evidence that she remembers, because she was gone there also in her arc, after she had quarrelled with Keima, when that place wasn't a special memory for her yet, so probably she simply could love that place.

P.S. I like both Ayumi and Chihiro, but I guess to be one of the few people who prefer Chihiro. She was so sweet when she admitted she lost her mind! xD

That really depends on how much we really like Keima being w/any girl or think that he is deserving of their affection. Despite the softening of his heart to some degree, he still generally treats "real" girls badly in his normal persona in which the girl is not an object of conquest.

Keima is awesome in his own right, and I wouldn't diminish his admirable bravery facing some real challenges in trying to save each and every girl he's saved. But the girl that I would support being with him isn't just simply one who likes him that I also like, but also one whom he himself likes and works hard to secure her well-being and happiness. And Yokkyun doesn't qualify.

Vessel to Mercury or not, Ayumi had always been my favorite of the captured girls. Maybe it's because it was episode one of the anime that really got me into this series and she was the capture object then. But rather than analyzing why she's my favorite, I'd just rather enjoy the character and her awesome development as this very mature, self-sacrificing, lovable, cheerful, bright girl.

Putting my money on Ayumi, otherwise Mercury wouldn't have made that complicated emotions comment. Also it's great that Wakaki is playing this more on the serious side rather than for laughs.

Can I say that despite all that had happened in the latest chapter (all those Ayumi-Chihiro scenes), I found the Ryo comedy and Keima's attempt to become normal via games to be the best part?

Ayumi IMO. Because of the comment by Mercury.

Chihiro really hasn't had a change or a need to change or feelings or back off. Ayumi is suddenly doubling back and it probably confuses Mercury.

wouldn't Mercury fit Ayumi more simply because she is in track club. ven after reveal both of the girl will be playing a role. They are two wild cards alongside with Yui who throws Keima's plans disarray. One of the most exciting arcs.

I thought Fiore was very stubborn for how she didn't go insane by being confined in such a small glass (for several days?). But now she's probably slowly going crazy, especially with how she gets tortured by baldy.

It's a very hard call actually, looking at all the points I would say its leaning toward Ayumi but instincts tell me its Chihiro so, I'll go with Chihiro as the Goddess host. Perhaps to me it seems to obvious for it to be Ayumi and well Kami has to be wrong at some point especially now that he is sick and not thinking as clearly it is more likely for him to make a mistake. Personally I'd prefer if Chihiro is the host... So yeah I'm biased.

Well find out next week... I can't wait.

Pity Keima for not being able to replenish his health, but was 'summoned' to work by Diana.

Wouldn't it be ironic if both Ayumi and Chihiro are the hosts of Mercury? You'll never know the possibilities, after all its a goddess that is being talked about.
