Well when you consider it was basically a *one man job*, all I can say is he did awesome just hanging in there. There are plenty of projects with whole teams of people which have died due to neglect/loss of interest. What I can say after TLing just one route is that it takes @#%&ing ages and he did the entire thing. This isn't exactly a short game either, and of what I can remember the english was if not perfect then at least perfectly readable. You really needa give him more credit.

Gonzou has his own music whenever he appears, and veins pop out of his forehead when he gets pissed. He's also smart enough to figure out Haru wasn't really scared of him, and knew that Haru knew where he had his gun. Also he smelled Haru on Kyousuke, that's some sense of smell he has. Lol.
EDIT: Also, I tried looking on the internet, but I failed to find another mystery Visual Novel that is within the terms of sort-of-realistic boundaries, so can anyone say if another one that is translated exists out there? Last edited by Alddous; 2011-05-31 at 21:42. |

Holy fuck the ending is depressing as fuck.
Spoiler:
But there's a little hope out there. I usually don't play VNs, but the story was damned good, and if made into an anime will pretty much outlcass everything out there. In my mind at least. Makes Death Note look like the kiddie pool.

Despite some confusing plot contradictions, g- senjou's story was still one of the most outstanding stories ever written. Esp. Haru's route.
Not to mention the music. no, it makes death note seem like the shower before u get into the kiddie pool

G-Senjou definitely had a good story to it. The thing about AkabeiSoft2 with this VN and Sharin no Kuni. Is that the canon routes (Natsumi and Haru) makes it impossible to get the male protagonist to choose any other girl once you heard their story. Then again, they fixed that in G-Senjou no Maou by placing Haru last, and if you get placed inside another character's love interest, then you go into a completely different story alltogether. While all the same time, they don't completely demonize the antagonists, with them acting like "Hey I'm going to do bad things because I want to!". Which is probably why I like these two VNs so much. While also trying not to make them overpowered as well (the same goes to the protagonists that face against the antagonists) while trying to implament a story that focuses on problems that people actually face in real life. Which is probably why these types of VNs touch people deeply.
Another thing that's a good point for this VN is that each character is unique (well... Tsubaki wasn't all that unique to me till her development later in the story). With an interesting setting to go with it, a yakuza gang gets one person interested, they see the yakuza gang leader and go which probably gets them to move on with the VN without falling asleep from how simple most VNs are placed and eventually tune out of the information out of boredom. I only wished we could get more VNs like this.Yeah.. I'm not cut out at making these kinds of comments after all

Personally to me the following things made G Senjou stand out from the crowd easily.
Anyways I can rant about how good it is myself forever, but I still have to ask... Why isn't there a goddamn anime of this already! BLARGH!!! Quote:

Wakamoto makes everything better in my opinion
I just noticed something strange when trying to compare the heroines of the two VNs, they resemble eachother very closely.. Especially centering around their relationship/reactions towards the male lead.Mizuha-Touka Kanon-Sachi Haru-Natsumi Yuki-Ririko Tsubaki-Saika (This one is the hardest to compare with Saika's Mary Sue acting)
