Amazing, much, much better than the anime.

Starts out extremely cute and hyper, and slow becomes more and more filled with angst.

I love how they give so many hints throughout the earlier volumes about the "real story", and it all comes together in the end for one beautifully written, bittersweet ending.

It's one of my favorite endings in manga/anime.

Read it, loved it. Much darker than the anime (which I also enjoyed very much).

The speech patterns of the female lead made me want to strangle her. But aside from that, it's quite good. And really, really dark. Not quite Kitoh-level dark, but still far more solemn than the art style and first few chapters would lead you to expect.
