Hmmm, one thing I wonder about. Why js leave the second Railgun SS hanging with only 1 chapter to go and focus on Kanzaki SS that still has several chapters not done?

I'm not really complaining mind you, since I have a lot of LN to catch up and will just read the SS together after everything get translated, just curious considering js usually complete a whole volume before jumping toward the other stories.

No, the problem is that they release the Railgun SS by parts, so js06 had no choice but to skip to the Norse mythology SS.

Because the Railgun SS chapters are release with the Index II dvd/BD volumes

I find it odd that the two Railgun SS are coupled with the Index BD volumes while the Index SS are coupled with the Railgun BD volumes. And going by that logic, when the third Index series is made, the releases will have a third Railgun SS.

Nothing odd about it; it gives Railgun fans a reason to buy Index, and Index fans a reason to buy Railgun... You know, just in case they can't get over their differences.

And yes, by that logic we will have a Railgun SS3.

Well now that Shana has come to an end, Index and Railgun are the only two constant big money printer they've got left.

I can't see any other new series in sight to fill the hole that Shana will leave in their ranks.

SAO doesn't seem to be their type despite being a degenki bunko series.

You know looking at their website, I'm hard press to find a single series that is left untouched by the Anime Studios before it's sweet sixteenth (volume). IMO, anything that isn't in the double digits would not get the full 2 cour treatment... Unless it's Brain Base, in which case you can kiss goodbye to any sequel.

So 1, it needs to be from degenki bunko. 2, it needs to have at least ten to twelve volumes. And 3, it needs to have the heroine's name in the title (

)
