As an American, I'd say I was insulted...but then again the gun-people ratio is pretty high....although I dislike guns and prefer swords or fists.

And it's fiction.

Guns in bars is LOGIC.

Also, string bikinis need to be subsided.

Which is my point- For the longest time now we act like all they needed was a gun but that's not true as Touma is more than experience dealing with firearms, he just switches tactics that's all.

I was talking about ToAruVerse USA ^_^;
Read beginning Railgun SS1 for more information in what it is like there

Also, ToaruVerse USA is badass: they have Rider from Fate/Zero as their President!

And Js06's Divine March started! Real discussions can start now...

...screw it, I have nothing to say besides the fact that the President blinded me with his awesomeness ^_^;

"When I truly go after a woman, I give her such a memorable experience that any previous complaints are blown away."

Dude, teach a thing or two to Touma. I fear he'll be doomed to stay a virgin if he doesn't get his act together.

Let the vice president be Stephen Colbert. Please, oh, please...!

"People who were completely normal the day before are suddenly becoming enemies of America as if they are being controlled by someone else."

Now why wasn't he targeted first for such a thing to happen?
Is it by chance a magic spell that targets the subordinates and works its way up the chain of command?

Anyway Robert Katze is quite the man.

Rider successfully beats Bush(or Obama whomever was President at F/Z) to a pulp and had Velvet cast a spell to make them President of the U.S.A.

Question: WW3 ended in october 30. Then:
1. When Touma comes back to Academic City?
2. When Touma and company arrive in Hawaii?

I need to understand this storyline. Oh, by the way, they created this volcanic eruption to get Gungnir's Fragment or they wanted another thing?

And the question I really want answered: The magicians can use spells using other stories as a base for magic? I really didn't think they could only use culture and religion as a base but they only used something based in legends till now.

I think magic can be based on anything. At first, we we're introduced concepts that are attached on religious concepts, but it is not impossible for magicians to base their magic on something else.

In case people haven't realized it- Every culture and religion is base on stories, myth and folklore so is it really any surprise for them to use a timeless classics like the Grimm's fairy tales ?

They were bait to draw out Gremlin.

I thought the bait was using bombs and framing them for it?

I wonder if there's a magic concept based on Rumpelstiltskin. Imagine breaker a magician who is almost impossible to beat unless you know his/her name.

Hmmm, distraction might be a better word then. Note that Cinderella was preoccupied by Touma/Mikoto so that Birdway could 'sneak up' with an oil truck from above.

I'm certain outside of this incident, Gremlin would be more focus on Touma allowing Birdway to move about relatively easily.

On topic of Touma's nemesis. Couldn't we have a Saint that is good at martial arts and proceed to have Touma completely beat up?

We already have Acqua for that, although his technique isn't really martial arts.

Right, because Touma wasn't beaten up by every Saint he came across already.

A regular guy with martial arts would be enough.

Honestly speaking Touma's worst match up would probably be Shiage, he doesn't rely in mojo at all, and is good at improvising weapons and tactics. Furthermore he usually doesn't stop to anything in order to win (though, in a "hero" / "good" sense).

Of course, that's "the new Shiage", when he first appeared the novel went out of it's way and mentioned us that he wasn't "much of a man" then
