Shannon/Kanon theory reminds me of the "Battler is a girl" theory to explain how Battler isn't Battler, but it's a good theory.

I've said this before, but Beatrice never states if any of the people on Rokkenjima are sick, mentally or otherwise.

EDIT:

Spoiler for Nanjo:

Grandson, supposedly his son took his place at the hospital. I suppose that this grandson suffers from a rare disease that requires a lot of money to be treated, maybe Kinzo payed him well for his services? Anyway if Nanjo is a fake he could have as well lied.

But the 07151129 was written with the same painting of the magic circles right? Whoever did that must be the same person that made the magic circles, don't you think so?

And secondly... those signs.. its apparent that the culprits wants the people to find the dead bodies as sooon as possible.. why? he wants to throw the entire family into chaos as soon as possible.. why? he wants to finish the crime as soon as possible.. simple. And chaos = best situation for murder
I am not too sure about that - in episode one Eva and Hideyoshi's bodies were going to be found even if the sign on the door had not appeared minutes before this happened. And of course, the culprit could always use letters to inform the survivors where to find the bodies.

Just wondering... can we completely rule out the possibility that Maria was the one that made those magic circles? That however would imply that Maria knows about the murderer, well if she did she'd probably believe that the murderer is Beatrice...
Still a lot of questions would arise... why would she paint the doorknob of Natsuhi's door?

That would also explain why the circles stopped. But still...wasn't it said that her own circles looked kinda ehm spidery and that theere were a few drawings in that book which she didN#t draw? I could be wrong but still.
The doorknob maybe she knew or heard that Jessica gave her charm to Natsuhi, since Maria worked with the culprit in someway she was told to do so everyone would believe Natsuhi wasn't killed because of the charm.

I don't think we can completly rule this out. In fact, I think it could easily be true. If "Beatrice" met Maria, then she could have asked her to draw them.

IIRC, in episode 1, Maria has an alibi for when most of the circles appeared.
