Why do people care so much about models, anyway?

That, too. Except put "reality" in big quotation marks.

I'm sorry but I think "reality" shows are the biggest load of bullshit ever to (dis)grace television. Why don't you live your own life, which is much more REAL than this crap will ever be? People who prefer watching other people live their own lives are just lazy and pathetic in my opinion.

Sorry, I just have a strong abhoration for these things. Didn't mean to sound rude

While I dislike "reality" television shows, I think you're being far too harsh to the people who watch them. Many people find them to be quite entertaining. You may not be one of those people, but please don't insult people who DO like to watch them, mmkay?

As Adieu says so often in Lord of Lords Ryu Knight, "hate the sin, not the sinner". Get it?

Excuse me,
Why is this topic becoming a debate on REality Shows, and TV? and whether they are "cool" or not. Or if they should be watched or not.
I was just asking people that DO watch this show to post their thoughts of the shows, contestants, etc.
So please post a seperate topic about Reality Shows in general or better yet TV.
And, yes we all know Reality Shows don't really show reality. Well in this case. This show is the closet to show anything related to what the show is about. Models do act like that. But, we do all know it has been cleverly edited. Yes, Survivor and The Mole aren't really Reality Shows. They just show people doing stupid stunts to get paid. And are too lazy to make it them selves.
Now back to the topic please. America's Next Top Model
So far four people have been kicked off.
Would you like me to list them?

None of hem deserves to be a model. They are just a bunch of girls who are bitchin' at each other as dictated by the director. But......but, if there has to be a choice I'll pick Mercedes.

ok then. Please do not post here if you do not watch the show.
I like April,Shandi, and Sara as my top 3
That is true, Mercedes is improving. Although, i think once Tyra finds out that this secret has been hidden for almost a month. She will get upset. She would be like "I thought we were getting close."
And feel that you need to tell her everything since she is kind of like your Publicist

dont models like to eat very little so that they can maintain their thin look, some of them even got anoxeric, those models arent really a role model to young girls out there.

I agree... I think I watched one airing and decided I'd go on a diet!

Or not...

I saw the one where they're all ridiculing this one girl because she ate a whole lot even tho she's skinny. That's rediculous. I don't care why she was stuffing her face. I eat a LOT, sometimes just as much as my husband, and I'm still skinny. Some of us can do that.

Anyway, after watching said parts of that episode, I just turned it off and it was quickly forgotten. I was never really impressed with reality TV.

EDIT: I hope we're talking about the same show. I never bothered to get the title of the one I watched.

ashibaka - C'mon, just leave it be. How many other threads were waylaid by posts not sticking to the original topic?

DjDeluxay - Don't worry about your thread getting hijacked by other people as like it or not, it almost always happen.

I saw one episode of the show; it was the one (3rd or 4th in the second season) where the contestents had makeovers, and every one of the girls was talking about that blonde girl who was crying about her new looks and how she can turn on the tears on command. Got depressed from watching it, and moved on. Don't really need or want to watch catfights on TV, to be honest.

I don't even watch "The Apprentice", "Survivor", or any of the other reality shows.

KaeMeera: It seems we may. But, the part about one girl eating too much was never brought up.

ashibaka: I am not making any rules up. Gosh i just want to talk about the show. Just let this be. No arguements intended. I would like it to go by the topic. Which is really the rules made by the MODS. To stay on topic is what they said. That is what i recall

LynnieS:Yeah the girl with the boy haircut was Catie. She whines WAY too much man. She should have gotten cut before Jenascia.
Well i will leave the link to my fan site
