This has to be one of the better comedy series this season. They did a good job with diverting from the manga and still staying funny and consistent with the general feel of the manga.

Is this contradicting, or is it just me?

Really nice start to a first episode and to the Winter 2009 Anime season. Although, I'm not sure if this will fall into the standard Harem category(me hopes not). Nice OP & ED themes,seiyuu cast was decent and the animation and artwork are good. The BGM was pretty forgettable, but that's one of the only complaints I could conjure. I can honestly say, I'm looking forward to more.

I wouldn't take it seriously. Chihaya reveals her real interest in having a guy around shortly after this exchange, so it's not like she had given the idea some serious thought.

wow, its completely different from how it happened in manga, but it was still enjoyable. Go Ayame! I think I might be her only fan, I wonder if they'll develop her the way the manga did.

Well she is a dere at first, but her sister actually fits that bill better. Ayame is more "rough" than Tsundere.

Yeah, they did some changes, but it was all good.

Nothing unusual but rather interesting. One cour will be more then enough for this show. Well, I think, + new ongoing in my list in this season. It can be a good show.

Yeah i wouldn't be surprised if that happens. Tomatsu Haruka also will play a part in it.

Hm perhaps. Ibuki is too much like Naru from Love Hina, not my favorite archetype. Actually... its my least favorite heroine archetype. Ayame is a lot more of an appealling character. I think others may agree as well. Here's hoping that she's as developed in the anime as she is in the manga. I even feel that she had much more development and screen time than Ibuki.

Well I hope for some decent Ayame screentime as well, she quickly become my fav after a few manga chapters. Ibuki is just sorta meh.. Angie is alright (they got the perfect VA for her), green hair does nothing for me and smh @ the loli after chapter 9.

That was quite enjoyable, I think as long as they don't completely over-do the fanservice then this is going to be a fun fish-out-of-water comedy.

Chihaya: I don't think a guy who can defeat Ibuki-nee exists.
