[Male Lead] Romance with a Happy Ending

I'm looking for an romance anime with a male lead that has a happy ending. That's basically all I require although it'd be nice if it had comedy and kiss scene(s).

I don't mind Harem/Ecchi.
Something casual/funny would also be nice since lately I've seen nothing but sad/dramatic anime's

5 centimeters per second-multiple mini stories of childhood friendships evolving

Clannad-similar to Midori no Hibi where the protag starts off as a delinquent but eventually changes through the effects of others

Ef-a Tale of Memories-multi perspective points of view from different people in the same world, all have happy endings

Elemental Gelade-an adventurous romance, where the main protag finds a unique girl with special abilities and falls for her.

Futakoi Alternative-Protag starts off being a good for nothing but through fated meeting of two girls he is forever changed.

Hantsuki-though the story is sad the ending is definitely a happy one. Two people meet each other due to their illnesses and fall in love despite the little time they have left

Kanon 2006-Its basically a harem where the main protag's kindness draws girls in and eventually in the end he chooses one; its happy depending on which girl you cheer for.

Karin-Vampire romance stuff, though the ending isn't satisfying for some it is however a happy one

Kimikiss pure rouge- Multiple relationships, childhood friends, love triangles, and of course a happy ending

Lovely Complex-opposites attract, though at first they start off as enemies

Nodame Cantabile-the romance is a bit weak, but it is a romance with music and a happy ending

True Tears- Its heart trembling drama, but it does have a very good ending

Agree....imagine that whenever you woke up in the morning you could choose between the BIG one or the small one

edit: I was going to try Rec But I read the plot and the male protag seems stupid so I ddnt dare waste my time with it

how was the main protag stupid? situation seemed more realistic than most. Basically he falls for the girl, knows hes not good enough for her, cheers for her, and at times argue like any real relationship

Synopsis:
Matsumaru Fumihiko is an average salaryman with no girlfriend. He invited his
colleague Miss Tanaka to a movie but was stood up. Right at the time he was about to toss tickets into a trash can, a cute girl appeared and asked him not to waste those two tickets. After movie and dinner, he escorted her home and found they live in the same neighborhood, yet unfortunately her apartment caught on fire hours later. Having nowhere else to stay, rookie seiyuu Onda Aka moved to Matsumaru's place, and the two had started a "more than friend but not yet lovers" relationship under the same roof while keeping this secret from their employers.

Meh, the generic shy indecisive male leads actually frustrates me when I'm watching. I'm just sitting there thinking stop being such a pussy =/

Most animes promote "losers getting the girl"
i.e. Maburaho-was the guy not a loser? he had only few charges of magic and only thing to offer was his genes

Ah!! My goddess-keiichi was turned down, unemployed, evicted from his aparment, had no special talents, not popular, nor had any special traits

Karin-the main protag wasn't anything special, his family was poor, he had a creepy glare, nor very popular

Sekirei-Minato is unemployed, failed to get into a university twice, and no special talents

Midori no Hibi- the guy is a delinquent, unpopular with girls as well as being ostracized by the school and gangs want him dead

Nagasarete Airantou-average kid, not very strong/athetic, not very bright, not good looking, nor had any special talents

and there are many more examples of loser protags that brings a content ending

p.s. also protag in School days is a good example of a indecisive, weak minded, perverted male lead but people still liked it?

I watched 5 CM Per Second after viewing this thread cause I wanted a happy ending anime lol. While I don't regret watching it, it WAS a fucking awesome anime, it was in no way a happy-ending anime.

keiichi works in convininent store, and minato works in contructruction site, so they are not unemployed, to put it correctly, they were.

No offense, but:

Spoiler for ending, duh?:

Oh, and just for the lulz, I think Hana Yori Dango has a happy ending...after a rollercoaster ride so epic that anything less than a happy ending would have caused the author's life to be in danger.

I just finished 5 centimeters per second, I liked it except the ending lacked a lot of closure. I suppose it is a happy ending, Takari is moving on with his life and is living in the present and not the past.

One thing regarding the 5 CM Per Second, while it did have a VERY bittersweet ending, I REALLY loved the depth and emotion portrayed in it. Is there an anime that has the same characteristics of the movie but has a more fulfilling ending, thats the kind of anime I'm looking for. I can't keep watching all these heartbreaking drama's ugh...

I second that, however I'd prefer one with a happier ending.
