Do As Infinity

Does anyone listen to this little ray of sunshine? (hehe)

I just wanted to say they are TEH HAWTNESS. I love their songs, and I'm like "EEEEEEE!!!" when listening to them. But are they j-pop or j-rock?

They are way too mellow for jrock... and noone has blue hair...

I got into them in 1999 and have enjoyed them more than any other avex artist/group.

But it would be nice if you at least named a favorite album or song, especially if you are kicking off a thread... you didn't even name the personnel.

Here is a decent English-language profile of the band.

Maybe I should of actually... sorry...

Um, my favorite song by them is Raven from their first album (I think first...), Break of Dawn.

I haven't heard much by them outside of that album, and it's hard to find more by them.

Yes, they're awesome. Tangerine Dream (at least that's what the song was called when I got it) is my favorite.

I started to listen to them recently. I quite like their music. My favorite songs are Tangerine Dreams -nice lyric, and Enrai- simple, nice melody, and tomiko sings it beatifully.

I really like Week. Nice and upbeat. ^_^ I also really like Fukai Mori...which is odd because those two songs are completely opposite in style!

I've liked DAI for ages, they're very much JPOP; their songwriter Dai Nagao has also written songs for other Avex artists like Ayumi and Hitomi. My favourite DAI songs are Tookumade, Summer Days and Under the Moon. I really liked their last album GATES OF HEAVEN which was miles better than the disappointing True Song. And yeah, Tomiko Van is one sexy chick.

I highly recomend anyone that likes Rock with pop and Techno, DAI doesnt relly have a specific genre, but they have really great music. Check them out sometime!!

My favortie songs are Fukai Mori, Oasis, We Are, Wings 510 and Welcome! what ar yours?

good ol' Do As Infinity.... How I headbanged to their songs when they weren't even metal, but their songs always got me in a good mood. Some songs from them were awesome. My personal favorites from them were:
Grateful Journey
Summer Days
Good For You
Snail
Perfect Lady
Get Yourself
New World(MIX)
Signal
and the last song from the album True Songs

ewww No!!! Not a trance singer!!! The trance takes away so much from her voice, and the new song is Do The B-Side, all their B-side songs you can only get from singles. Except for Under the Moon. -_- If you preorder the limited edition you can get a T-Shirt with the Kanji "Go" meaing 5 for their 5th Anniversary

Also its confirmed that there will be 13 New Songs ^_____^

So... I loved their tunes from Inuyasha, I'm looking to pick up their albums...

Where should I start? Should I just go with the first one? Which is best?

(Usually I'd go with the latest release, but it has CCCD copyright protection, which prevents it from being played in my PC - which is my sound system.)

Yep listen to their music.
Currently learning their Honjitsu Wa Seiten Nari on guitar.
Beginner guitarist here lol, so trying out something simple first, my aim is their metal.
