Manga

Well I just recently started reading manga, and I'd like to know what is the best manga has to give. So what are some of your favorite manga series? (top 5)

I have just started reading manga too... the reason was cause there were not many interesting animes to watch =(

Since i didnt read that many i cant make a top 5 but ill write down some that i liked... Most of them are ongoing too.

I don't read much manga personally, but i'd suggest reading Elfen Lied, Hellsing, D.Gray-man, and Claymore. All are very good with a mix of action drama and some romance (well ok, romance more so in Elfen Lied). It'd probably help some if you told us what types of anime/manga you liked though. There are so many it's hard to give just a few, especially when you don't know what someone's tastes are.

I have comics stacked up in my room, lol. Kind of hard to walk around, but I like it that way.

My top five:

20th Century Boys

Dogs: Bullets and Carnage

Claymore

Sand's Chronicles >> Hinako Ashihara is one of the few exceptions I make when it comes to shoujo.

Amatsuki

I'm going to add a sixth, because my list wouldn't be complete without it:

Emma,

some of these are already anime, like emma, claymore, and amatsuki. If you ever get a chance to, definitely check out 20th Century Boys live-action. It's the first part of a trilogy. Definitely worth your time

Genre specification would help greatly, as always.

Thanks for the input. Some of these look really good . I'll pretty much read ANYTHING as long as it has a viable plot and is not boring. Any more input will be appreciated
