Luckily it's fake. I have no problem with the overall design, but I don't like the big circle on its head, so glad that it's fanart

But I can see the 2 GN Drives Tau on the new MS though

Fake or not, I wouldn't not be surprised if Graham asked Billy to get a second drive on his machine.

It's a small tsu, so it'd be Garazzo.

Obviously a different machine.

(And since it's apparently Alejandro's legacy, I wouldn't be surprised if it was gold. )

Transam doesn't work that way. The whole tripling the output of the GN Drive was a mistake by the fans. (the same with GN Drive Tau being just a GN Drive without a TD Blanket, its actually a GN Drive that converts electricity into GN Particles, using an entirely different energy process than the original GN Drives).

Transam releases all the GN particles stored within a MS' GN Condensors which are located throughout the MS's frame all at once, and afterwards it requires time for the GN Drive to replenish the Condensor's supply of GN Particles.

00 was equipped with specially designed GN Condensors that either store a larger amount of particles, or is just more efficient at it.

Its unknown exactly how long it will take to recharge 00's GN Condensors back to normal operation levels, since the normal operational level could be much higher than the other MS'.

Here's the info on the 00 taken straight from the 1/100 model kit (taken from another forum)

GN-0000 00 Gundam

With combination of 0 Gundam and Exia's GN Drive, the only MS with Twin Drive

Using the same concept 'Rebirth through destruction' like the tv series, the new generation of Gundams (meaning the Exia etc) are designed with such thoughts in mind. In the Second Season, the mecha designs also add new experimental designs. Many of the Gundam's characteristics from the First Season such as chest orb, no mark in the mask, the cone on the back, and energy cords over the body are abandoned. To reject former designs and then come up with new designs, it fits with the season catchphrase 'Destroy This Rebirth'.

Mechanism

A. Twin Drive System
2 Solar Furnace equipped on both shoulders. They are from 0 Gundam and Exia. Twin Drive is usable when 2 original Solar Furnace synchronize, release not double, but squared amount of GN Particles. The improved version of Solar furnace standard Cone type is used. It now has the same function of thruster type from the Second Generation Gundams such as Astraea.

B. GN Condenser
GN Condensers are built in various joints, and able to store GN Particles, and also release a huge amount of them at once. In Twin Drive's case, since a huge amount of GN Particles are released, specially designed high specs GN Condensers are used.

C. Clavicle Antenna (?)
Antenna used to control GN Particles. Normally equipped on chest, however, it might interfere with 00's movable Twin Drive system. So the antennas are minimized and built onto the head instead. The chest's antenna are built as support.

D. Drive Arm
Arms used to support Twin Drive, can move the Drives to front, sides and back, changing the function of the Drives. Sides is the standard mode, back for thrusting power from GN Particles, front for Field effect.

E. Back Pack
Equipped on the back where Exia and the 3rd Gen Gundams mounted their GN Drives on. The backpack has a new function where it can also uses GN Particle for thrusting power.

It's not a mistake by fans. It's just the people who understand the aesthetics of being a red mecha joking around that's all. I have no idea why some people took it seriously when it's obviously a reference to Char's red Zaku II.

Now on another topic, do we have confirmation that Arios has the beam gatling gun on both of its arms or just its left arm? I'm half expecting something like a stinger or another hidden weapon to come out of its right arm.

As stated, its probably NOT a mobile suit since that was a mistranslation, but another type of weapon (that needs a whole battle to "capture" as Ep 13's title puts it)

In an ironic twist of fate, I hope the "Momento Mori", Alejandro's legacy, is used to screw over Ribbons in some way.

I guess the basis for that was some text on the 1/144 GN Arms Type-E regarding the Trans-Am system, which states that the Gundam becomes three times faster (yes, they do explicitly state that). Although this is hardly the same as having three times the output.

in the gundam's case, is there actually a difference between speed and output?

Well, as is demonstrated in the case of the Seravee vs. Trilobyte, Trans-Am was able to overpower the Trilobye. If we assume that the output for a true GN Drive and a single Tau are the same, then that means the Trans-Am actually produces more power than three GN Drives, hence it's power production isn't simply just three times more.

Which should be as expected: since the GN Drives do not just provide power to propulsion, but to motility as well. Hence the GN Drive must provide more than thrice the output in order to enhance the overall performance of the Gundam by thrice too.

Once again, I am in need of translation for technical profiles, in this case...

Mr. Bushido's Ahead

Holy... it has cannons on its thrusters and vulcans on its head.

Nifty bits in the mech profile:
The cable behind its head is for providing extra energy to whichever weapons it might use. But due to its inconvenience in connecting and disconnecting, there is a special GN condenser mounted in its shield, for recharging of the extra-powerful saber.
The thrusters on the Ahead's shoulders are usually horizontal, but Mr Bushido has made them vertical for reducing interference with the swinging of the Ahead's arms.

1. GN Beam Saber
Primary melee armament. Held with two hands. Due to its extra output, the input is also correspondingly higher. Since the normal input given by the Ahead is not enough, the GN condenser in its shield can be used for fast charging. Mounted in the shield, or on pylons on its left and right.

2. GN Short Beam Saber
Backup armament mounted on the left hip. Small and has low operation time, but the power rivals that of the normal beam saber(I'm assuming they mean the big one mentioned in (1) instead of the general Ahead saber)

3. GN Short Beam Cannon
Internalised in the shoulder thrusters. Higher rate of fire and smaller, but lower power than a standard beam rifle. Used for restricting the enemy in a close quarter fight.

4. GN Shield
Made of high strength E-Carbon. The GN-Field's defensive effect is stacked onto the material shield to give overall higher protection. A Defense Rod is also mounted centrally within. (Repeats earlier GN condenser and beam saber stuff) Mounted on right arm due to pilot being left-handed.

5. GN Vulcan
30mm beam cannons mounted in the head. Low offensive power, only used to restrict enemy movement, shoot down missiles, and lay up a wall of suppressive fire due to its rapid fire capability.

What technology does Celestial Being still have that wasn't leaked with the GN-X? Only Trans-Am, the Twin Drive system, GN powered ships, and possibly the ability to generate full GN Bubble shields? Even now the enemy is aware of Trans-Am by name and what it does.

It appears the A-Head comes with everything that came standard (though somewhat improved) on 3rd Generation Gundams. Even the turrets on the new ships A-Laws uses now look like larger version of Virtue's GN bazooka from the 1st series.

The only advantage as of right now I can see is that Celestial Being spent 4 years improving the previous versions of their suits and and their ship. Their suits are superior to anything A-Laws has by a large margin (not counting innovator suits), but can be overwhelmed by sheer numbers and Aces.

Thoughts?

The Feds already have GN field technology, just that they use it in a localised area rather than surrounding the whole suit. One explanation I thought up was that it took up a lot of the stored energy in their Tau drives, therefore it was hardly economical.

As for the technological advantage of the suits possessed by CB, it doesn't look like they have much of one, given that the Tau drives are said to be slightly less efficient as compared to the true drives, which somehow has 100% efficiency. This explains the way the Gundams get owned by the Tau drive suits since the Feds have closed the technological gap by so much ever since they got their drives.

Therefore what I think is that it's all up to the O Raizer now, or else CB is toast.

Nifty bits on the Mr. Bushido Ahead there, very nice to see that there's actually a reason for the reorientation of the thrusters instead of being mere aesthetic choice, and also the GN Shield info is sweet

Yea. Mr. Bushido's Ahead has a lot more than it meets the eye.

It really gets me thinking though, Graham asked Billy for the strongest sword even though he already has a better than normal beam saber so what is Billy gonna make him? Are we ready to see something like a GN Buster Sword or a zankentou?
