I'll say Orikasa Fumiko, narrating as Riza.

I think the general consensus will be true about using Isaac to introduce Ed, Al, and the other characters without having to repeat everything from the first series. (Why else would they have a dramatic showcase of Ed's automail when he confronts Isaac in Central?) But I'm pretty sure he's significant to the anime storyline later on as well, just like how the maid girl (I forgot her name, but Dante transfers into her body) was introduced in the beginning of the anime series, didn't show up for a while, and then made a big impact later on. It's either there will be some sub-plot they follow as they follow the manga's plot, OR it could be a sign for potential fillers. That BONES employee from the interview from Anime News Network said they don't know when the manga will end yet, causing an undetermined amount of episodes for the second series right? That would make Isaac perfect for a filler arc to stall time for the anime series so the manga can finish first then making the anime finish with the same ending as the manga. Yeah fillers aren't a good thing in most people's eyes, but BONES did good making stuff up in the first series, so I wouldn't mind seeing how the fillers are in the second series (if there are fillers of course).

He was from Aniplex iirc and even if they did know when, they wouldn't say so.

They have to animate ~100 chapters of content. Time is working against them as the final ep count is already decided. They have little time for this introductory nonsense filler as it is. They want anything but to stall for time right now.

Before the video gets pulled down (don't think it's been said in here, right?)

Artist: YUI
Song: Again
FMAFA OP 1

It's no Porno Graffiti's 'melissa', and i've mixed feelings on it as YUI (imo) works well as an ED theme artist.
But together with the montage, it may grow on me and it's only the first OP, there will be more I suspect

FMA 2nd TV Series to be streamed for free... in Australia.

Only posting this because it means that it's counted as licensed down here now. And it possibly means that Funi may or may not have similar plans.

Again by Yui is kinda slow. I'll wait to pass judgement after I see it in action and hear the full thing. After listening to Uso again, they should have switched the songs.

"Again" sounds pretty nice to me. Slow songs for OPs aren't necessarily a bad thing.

I never liked songs from Yui...they're always okay, not very fond of her voice. I was looking forward to something like Ready Steay Go or Melissa, doesn't feel like a FMA opening to me...I rather they did another animation sequence to Ready Steady Go ;P

It would have been a good ending song...maybe I still think FMA openings need to be sung by male and the ending by female...

so to see wether you guys are right i checked out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...emist_chapters and i have no idea what you are talking about.... the summary for the first 9 volumes is almost IDENTICAL to how i remember the first half of the anime. maybe theres a detail different here or there, but overall i have no idea how they will make sitting through the exact same thing again entertaining.

You must have remembered the anime wrong, because the manga and anime diverse permantly halfway through volume 7.

I facepalmed after reading this statement. And when the show actually comes out, 10 bucks that you're going to like the song as the opening.

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
wait... i'm thinking it's romi with her hair down... but doesn't quite look like her...
(and if I'm wrong, i deserve to be put in the corner of shame, cause i only have vids of her from back in 05') xD

This time around it does look more intense, but I know I'll have to stay away from threads *fear of manga readers* during this series and keep to myself sadly.
That's the main thing i miss about the first series, the fact that no one knew what was to happen because it was it's own original story.
*sighs*
ah well, look forward to round 2 ^^
