Dream-seeker: Yes, Ali Project did the ending theme of Kaibutsu Oujo as well.

Apparently Arika's seiyuu (Mika Kikuchi) plays a character by the name of Bougainvilleae...any takes on who (or what) he/she/it may be? :P

I hope it's one of the cute mascots, the only other anime with Mika Kikuchi I have seen is Tsubasa Chronicle and there she voiced the cute mascot quite well. Plus a cute mascot named Bougainvilleae sounds quite hialrious.

I don't know if this reference was already mentioned, but the phallic jokes are obvious looking at the pair of 'golden orbs' that are supposed to supplement Leopard's ability to shoot his anti-matter cannon, in which in failure to do so in episode 1 brought shame to his 'male pride'. Also, Akiha's way of phrasing "You're just tired today."

Also, golden orb = golden ball = kin tama = japanese slang/equivalent of crown jewels.

Also, Black God. This is really starting to look like Gintama in Space.

I could sort of see the metaphor already (the cannon not firing), but now that you bring the whole golden balls thing into it, that adds to it pretty nicely. Though now it makes me curious what role Honoka plays in all this.

Ara, I just got that golden orb joke. LOL Now I see what's going on with Leopard losing his pride.

lol I knew the Golden Gun has to have some significance, Golden Orbs just completes it.

Anyway stuff from the OP:

The hilariously amazing Taichi Asimo and Ul, are they separate mind and bodies of Master Asia and Master Gundam? lol

The opponent Takane is fighting with, comes with Pasdar(from Gaogaigar) lol

And Akiha's wonderful Q-Tector pose in the mecha intro portion of the OP, is picture perfect for a figure, can't wait to get one

I'm sure many of us feel the same lol

My question: Who's voicing and what's the name of the woman in pink hair speaking to Akiha in her dream?

Extra: I was watching the intro of the 3 mechs in the OP and noticed the numbers. I thought: "These numbers are weird for 3 sizes, length, width and height?" Then I noticed its the QT-Arms' dimensions and weight lol

I think I like Akiha's wonderful pose too much to take notice of the QT-Arms in the background.

I think that was Mai Nakahara voicing her, in which case the lady's name would be Kagura (as Mai Nakahara is voicing a character named Kagura), but I can't be sure. It did sound similar to the voice Mai used for Shino in Kannagi, at least.

Hmmm, I don't think so, after doing a check.

I looked through all the characters in the ED credits and found one most suspicious:

Natsume: V.A., Yukana

There was no such character of such name in that episode, meaning only the pink haired yellow eyed lady. She does sound like Yukana. Plus double roles sometimes point to secret characters, Yukana's already voicing Takane and this pink haired is a secret character.

EDIT: Oh, there's also the purple haired student coucil member who's unnamed. But I think she's Subaru Bakuya voiced by Kano Yui.

Did anyone else notice that in the ED, they completely deny Uranus's existance? They show the inner 4 planets, then they show them looking at the giant red spot of Jupiter, and then eating lunch on the rings of Saturn. Then it zooms to show the entire orbital rings, and the outer two cross. That means Neptune and Pluto, since those are the only two rings that cross.

In other words, Uranus was blown up by space aliens!

After checking what you're pointing out, I don't think you're correct.

Officially, our solar system only has 8 planets now, Pluto's no longer is a planet, just another Kuiper Belt object. The ED recognises the 8 planets.

Tracing the outermost rings, I found that they did not cross at all, just extremely close to each other. And the 2 outermost planets are also very similar in size, just like Uranus and Neptune, its also relatively in scale with the other planets shown in the ED. If the last planet is Pluto, it would be very much smaller, at least smaller than what Mercury is shown there.

So, yea there's no planets destroyed lol

EDIT: And Vespa = win. I wonder if they took it from Gainax.

Heh, this show is actually directed at otaku who have a good history on mecha.

The show also has lots of references and puns that's not easy to put in English.

Episode 2 has a little less crack than episode 1, but hopefully they make it constant and this show could be quite a wide ride.
