I use the regular. Works just fine, and I get all the features I need (except super-seeder).

I'm using TheSHAD0W's EXPERIMENTAL BITTORRENT CLIENT because it seems that my ports 6881-6889 got blocked some days ago
Works fine so far

Where can you switch the port in the official client? Either you can't or I'm to dumb to find the preferences ^^#

I'm using ABC now.

i use ABC, its very nice and works prefect, the guy added a timeout option so if theres a torrent thats not seeded, tracker down etc then it will goto the next torrent in the list.

Or, alternatively:
Use the Source, Luke.

(I didn't bother entering those every time (although I could've easily aliased it), so I edited the source directly)

i use the experimental 3.2.1 CVS version. works fine for me.

question: will the d/l speed be the same no matter what client you use? or does it differ between clients? is there a client which offers the highest speed compared to other clients? ie. the mother of all clients. someone please answer my question, thanks. i'm using a cable connection btw.

I wouldn't recommend using it, since PHPBT tracker for once refuses to serve Shareaza clients. It's something about Shareaza not following the official protocol or so....not sure

Really? If they have any complaints they can e-mail me, I am on the Alpha Team.

Anyway, the latest alpha has fixed the compression bug and connects to all trackers
