No, it shouldn't.
Gaap is written like this: ガァプ (note the extra ァ)
while virgilia spam ガプ. There HAS to be only 1 a.

Virgilia was 'trying' to shorten Gaap's name just like Gaap shortened Virgilia's name.

You know, when I saw the character, that was the first thing I thought of.

Woe to those that cross the doors to the London tube, their mind will be brainwashed beyond any chance of repair.
Of course if you've never been there, you can't understand ^^;

If you think of it.

Gaap
- can open circular gaps (holes) that act as portals
- has a big gap... in her dress

I was rereading through the chapter Mariage Sorciere and Ootsuki said something that sparked a thought and I'm curious to know if it's been suggested yet. Here is what he said, paraphrased concerning the message bottle.

"Such a random an unreliable form of communication is famous for being used as an SOS, or in a mystery novel as a means of confessing the truth, like a time delayed will."

I was reminded that Shannon had been asked by 'Kinzo', whoever that is since he's supposed to be dead, to copy down the will he recites but we never get to see it. Perhaps that was the message intended to be placed in the bottle? If that's true then all the places 'Beatrice's' handwriting matches, it's actually Shannon. Not really trying to form an overall theory, just drawing some lines between dots and hoping I don't end up with something hidious.

Shan...sha...shannon?? I...I cant... repeat in red that she has nothing to do with the killings.

Shannon lives on Rokkenjima and can easily dress up as Beatrice to fool Maria...

On the other hand.

Why was Gohda and Kumasawa's bodies hung up...

An irrelevant question, but why is Beatrice's nickname translated as "Beato" instead of "Beat" even though they're pronounced the same? Was it stated somewhere that her nickname is "Beato?"

Something about it looked weird when they translated it. ^^
