So where's the complaints aimed at the next 3 strongest and oldest Soul Reapers in the 13 Divisions?
No really, he is the freaking COMMANDER of the Gotei 13. That is exactly why he has to be held to a higher level of accountability than everyone else in SS. Shunsui, Ukitake, Unohana, and everyone else we haven't seen much of shouldn't be held to the same level as Yama-ji. That is like saying the Governor of New York (random example) should be held to the same level of accountability as the President of the United States for the country's problems. Get a clue!

Seriously, I don't think anyone can beat Yama down in a one-on-one fight.
We shall see who is the strongest though.
You don't think it would be a much greater impact on Bleach if someone defeats Aizen as opposed to Yama-jii? If someone defeats Aizen, then what, the story ends? If someone beats Yama-jii, it just won't impact Bleach as much.

Maybe no one will beat Yama-jii but it just won't make much sense if he does end up being the strongest in the Bleach universe. It will just make everyone wonder why he hasn't just stepped up and ended all this already.

That's why they go on for months, years, and even decades.

Kubo is retarded, and he can't even pull of a simple plot device like a 'War' wihtou flecking it up. Sad.
I'm sorry, when did this war wrap up?
Who won?
Give me those Kubo hidden chapters you only read, now?

Yes. Actually, he is.

In fact, the only things keeping Bleach afloat right now are:

Urahara, Yoruichi, Yamamoto, Aizen...and Byakuya and Kenpachi. (growing old now...)

Honestly, it's really boring. No power structure whatsoever. So the few character who show prowess are extra focused and over glorified. Pathetic, to some extent, seeing as this manga had so much potential.
Again, show me where Unohana, Ukitake, Shunsui, Stark, Barragan, Halibel, and the Vaizards went all out?
Hasty with your words and judgement

Who said Aizen is the top villain?
We don't know much about anything except for the fact that there is a war going on now and we clearly don't know who is the strongest in Bleach so far.
This war will let us Know who is tops...

Accountability for what though?

Besides, if Yamamoto is supposed to be held accountable, then isn't that why he acts in an almost too stern and serious matter in all altercations within the Soul Society? Aren't people's complaints about Yamamoto's personality exactly the same thing that they demand of from Yamamoto?

That's why Yamamoto didn't want to take shit from Ukitake and Kyoraku for breaking all SS laws in aiding and abiding in the disruption of Rukia's execution, before all attention of the real criminals turned to Aizen and Co....That's why when a pathway to Hueco Mundo was established Yamamoto ordered 4 Captains to infiltrate HM and take out the Espada...That's why when Yamamoto learned of Aizen's plan to travel to Karakura Town, Yamamoto set up a fake Karakura Town and ambushed Aizen and Friends with the remaining Captains and Lieutenants left in the Soul Society...

"Higher level of accountability"? OK, yeah, the buck stops at Yamamoto, but go ahead and give a "Get out of jail free" card to Aizen as if he's the bad guy that did nothing wrong...

I guess Yamamoto pulling all stops and waging an all-out assault on Aizen and Co. doesn't mean anything when everyone is expecting Yamamoto to sit on the sidelines like a senile geezer
