Just checking, the manga chapter 52 is supposed to be out now, right? Is it available somewhere?

And I think we already saw some hint of chapter 52 in the preview for episode 19. It's really intriguing...

There's a manga thread so you should really ask there, but Young GanGan releases every first and third Friday every month. (It's still Thursday night in Japan)

BTW... What did that official think Saki wanted to remove? He sure didn't look like "shoes" was the thing that sprung to his mind...

Jeez, you can't wait 3 days to see it in the anime? Be patient, don't spoil yourself.

脱いで (nuide) from 脱ぐ (nugu) can mean to remove clothing as well as shoes.

Saki just asked if it's okay if she removes something she was wearing... she didn't specify what... which is why the old perv got nervous. Then she said, 靴 kutsu (shoes) as an afterthought, which specified her shoes. Sort of like saying, "Is it okay if I take them off?" "My shoes." (Whatever "them" he was hoping for, that wasn't it.)

The crux of it, I guess.

EDIT: Posted what I know in the manga thread. Go there please.

Oops, I guess I was just too caught up with Kana's wonderful hand . Nobody sane should ever play like Saki, but Kana's play can be used to build low-scoring hands into big ones.

In this kind of show, the protagonist team can (and often does) lose, but only if their story can still proceed after a loss. Since Saki's goal is to meet her sister through mahjong again, this is her only chance of doing so, and that's why she's certain to win.

Quite right. The anime is just about to catch up and surpass the manga, so there isn't much point in spoiling yourself. In any case, as usual, any manga material should stay in the manga thread.

If you watched the scene you notice Saki is pointing down while she was sitting, the guy was thinking she wanted to take off her skirt or even her panties lol.

Well, they could meet in the individual tournament. But they'd lose the "fighting for each other as a team" theme that's been so prominent thus far.

Spoiler for possible description of future episodes:

Found this on the 2chan Saki threads. You can buy your own stuffed Etopen in November. (Why it takes 3 months for them to make it... dunno. Guess they have to make it "extra flammable.") Cost is around 3300 yen. No guarantees that he will improve your ability to beat obsessed rich girls at mahjong.

I just picked up on this series to see girls playing mahjong, at episode 16 actually. It is quite interesting watching how the game mahjong is played. Also I really love Gonzo, especially the Gainaxing.... seriously.

In an idol world, they would have gotten that P-Cup Idol, "風子."
