Oh my, this is just getting better and better. So glad we'll have a Maaya Sakamoto OP, though i do wonder what type of song we'll get for the OP. Something like the CLAMP in Wondlerland II song might work. I was thinking a slow song, though we'd probably get that from Nakajima Megumi.

Nah, the story was never finished. The first major story arc concluded, yes, but the overall "storyline" cannot be said to have concluded. The mark has not disappeared from his hand, so his "mission" is not over. The fact that they went on to do flashbacks before starting a new story arc does not mean the main story has ever concluded. It's too bad though, I doubt they'll ever get back to it.

I never said that just because volumes three and four are flashbacks means the main story has finished. I know that about the end of volume two, the actual story, though what i was saying is that it's the type of ending where the story can be finished with a ending where you decide what happens next, where the cliffhanger for the flashbacks was left pretty damn open. Still it's all left down to personal opinion on what you take from them both, and i do hope both are continued eventually.

Are we still talking about Kobato or are you guys talking about X again? Just curious since CLAMP did go back and write earlier chapters after the first 7 (the initial run) was done so I was getting confused here. Makes me wonder how they plan to do those chapters, I think there are 10 short chapters, 7 regular length ones, and then all the others are short as well.

So, yeah. I personally subscribe to the belief that once these 6 are finished, the CLAMP canon is complete, and the dames would retire. Now, who should be the OC which would travel the dimensions in the games?
